We had interview Tuesday and received passport on Thursday. So 2 days.. thank God.

Received phone call from our attorney yesterday afternoon. Package ready for pick-up (They conveniently only put their e-mail address to be notified) 

 

Picked-up this morning (FYI our handout referring to paying Immigration Fee did not have numbers filled in...they were left black)

Used the VISA page to get numbers...

 

Fee Paid :-) Will be going to get the entry stamp later this afternoon

Great contrats! We got my hubby's yesterday as I did everything I received the email. Now we have just crossed over. God is good

Before Friday the "Case Last Updated" date showed as December 21, 2017.... I took that to be the day the Consulate received our file from NVC.

Oh yes ours also changed to Friday as last updated which is the day he went for his fingerprints.

Hello what update changed? I have mine as ready since i scheduled the ASC appointment. We went today to show paperwork but it was closed for MLK day. So tomorrow we plan on going at 7am to see if they can see him sooner.

Question my husband went to get his fingerprints at ASC today in CDJ. Now his interview is not until Tuesday the 16th but they asked him to take his paperwork on Monday the 15th to the consulate. Has this happened to anyone else? They gave him a time to show up as well. Maybe it's to process sooner or I have no clue. First time I hear of this

We went back to Mexico City, they shipped it overnight, its already at the DHL location, but we probably won't pick it up till tomorrow morning.

Its possible for other locations it can take a little longer, I think we would've had the same wait time in Juarez.

We're not planning to cross right away so there was no need for us to wait there.

We have family that will be hosting us there (Thank goodness !) We have the interview at 10:15 a.m. not so early and i doubt we will want to have breakfast before going in.  I pray for it goes well for him also, and your husband. I am praying we both get the packages by that Friday, I saw that they were having system problems last month and it delayed a lot of people here on VJ... let's also pray that is over with now !

Yes I pray we all get approvals! I also have family there but prefer to stay in a hotel just because we plan on leaving after his approval to go visit his mom as he has not seen her in almost 8 years.  Plus I have my kids with us as we have no one to leave them with here. They are doing independent study (the things we do for love) but all is in God's hands now and he always knows what is best for us. I shall keep you in my prayers! Let me know what happens as so will I.

Tuesday - Police Certificate

Thursday - Medical 

Following Monday - Biometrics

Following Tuesday - INTERVIEW

 

Almost at the finish line !

Hello hope all goes well. This is so nerve wrecking. We are leaving on Monday the 8th to get everything done as well. We are driving from California as I am going with my husband. We have the interview on the 16th at 8:45am thank god its early and praying everything goes well for him.  I pray that he gets approved and they dont take long to give him his package to return.

I am very frustrated to. They have in fact even called some of the people who had their CC in October and November now. I have called like 20 times already to ask how NVC schedules the appointments and they always say that it goes in order by CC date. When I complained to them about others getting their interviews first then me they changed what they had said and told me that every case is different.  I FOUND OUT THAt A COUPLE OF THE PEOPLE WITH INTERVIEWS HAVE THE SAME EXACT CASE. It honestly sounds like they have no type of order at NVC. They have a box where they pull out ramdom names to schedule interviews. I have no type of other explanation.

 

This is honestly so disappointing!

You have to remember that some cases are expedited. Stay patient God's timing is perfect. You will hear something soon

OMG you are a life saver. I was about to go to Mexico city with a power of attorney.

I have a question, Does anyone know if my husband can get his police certificate in CDJ? Or should I start planning on getting it in Mexico City as the NVC letter states.

It says the last time it was updated was on the 27th, the day of his interview. 

I believe after that it should change to AP (approved)  then Issued once it is ready. 

He has gone to ask where he is suppose to pick it up and they say to wait 3-10 business days. Today will be 5 business days after his interview. 

My husband is going nuts. 

 

Oh yes you are correct. WOW that is a really long time to wait. I bet its because of the month it fell on. As you can see the consulate was very behind. I hope he gets it this week

They only send it by email and it takes about 5 days from the day they schedule the interview date.

Did either of you receive interview letter yet ? I keep checking my e-mail but nothing... I got both checklist and case complete letter's e-mailed to the same day...but the interview one is not showing up yet.

Hello If it says ready that means its ready to pick up. Has he gone to pick up at the DHL ?
