  1. To everyone still waiting, I just wanted to let you know that the wait will not be in vain.

I received an RFE in June, that was due September 10th. I didn't hire a lawyer (couldn't afford one) I just took my time and sent evidence from the inception of my marriage. I responded by the 6th(like I said i took my time). :)

After much heartache and stress on September 14th, my case was approved. 🎉 NEW CARD IN PRODUCTION notification was sent, and I can breathe a little now.

So please stay calm and enjoy your life, your time will come. God bless...see you all in the Citizenship forum!!!!

    Hey all,

Just wanted to share my joy & time line with everyone. Today I finally got the message I had been waiting for from uscis that action was taken on my case & when I logged into the DHS website it said they are producing my card. However the case tracking website has not changed from since the glitch message in March.

    My timeline is as follows:

    12.22.2016 - NOA1

    01.22.2017 - BIOMETRIC

    02.27.2018 - FEB GLITCH MESSAGE

    03.05.2018 - MARCH GLITCH MESSAGE

06.29.2018 - RECEIVED RFE (THEY ASKED FOR FINAL COURT DOCS ONLY)

07.09.2018 - USCIS RECIEVED MY RESPONSE & UPDATED MY DHS ACCOUNT.

07.26.2018 - NOA2 (WHICH WAS USLESS TO ME CAUSE IT WAS EXPIRED ANYWAY)

08.15.2018 - DHS WEBSITE UPDATED TO STATE THEY ARE PRODUCING MY CARD.

For those of you with pending RFE I know how hard it is to wait, especially when you see others who respond after you & then get approved in just days/weeks. Your mind plays tricks on you & makes you doubt everything. But I encourage you to keep waiting. As hard as it is find other things to do while you wait. & in due time your number will be called. My rfe was pending without an update for 36days (even though we had already waited 1y.8m those last few days were hell.)

Goodluck to everyone waiting. God be with you. Thank you for all your support.

I will update to let you know how soon I recieved the GC & Approval notice.

This is sooo good! I know how much you were stressed about it! I’m so happy for you ! Congrats!!!

I send my docs in this weekend. Please pray for me because I’m going through a divorce I know I’ll probably receive another RFE. But I know I’m favored and God’s got me! Just pray for my strength!

    Congrats again love!! Enjoy!!!

    Hi everyone,

I need any and all help from anyone that's experienced or know anyone that has. If anyone can address the two items I've bolded.

I got an RFE for updated documents and I have to turn them in before September 10th. I am, however, getting a divorce and will be filing on August 1st. Along with all the documents I have proving a bonafide marriage, should I also submit affidavits from my spouse and I stating that we are filed for a divorce on and also send copies of the papers filed?

I just need help with this, not sure if I should also send in a whole new packet with a divorce waiver or they will adjust it on their end. I already know I'll get another RFE asking for the Divorce Decree. I just want to make sure I am extremely open and transparent with them.

Congrats to all that have their permanent GC already! ANY HELP is MUCH APPRECIATED!

    Thank you and God Bless!!!

Can anyone provide any input on my post? Or no?

Or should I even make them aware that I am filing because we are still legally married and how I filed still applies until we get the final decree, which will take 2-3 months in the state of Florida?

Does anyone know if a PO Box is sufficient for the USCIS correspondences?  Or do they need a physical address?

I am moving and I don’t really have a permanent address.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Would really appreciate some help. About to send in my RFE and I need to know if I can use a PO Box or not.

    hello everybody,

congratulations for everyone got approved and best of luck for who's still waiting.

i'm about to lose my mind, today I received a RFE letter asking for more doc. I need your help please because I don't know what to do.

the following below are what I sent already:

    ·         A check of 590$ for I-751 and Biometric Fee.

    ·         Form I-751.

    ·         2  pictures.

    ·         Copy of USCIS Form I-551 (Permanent Resident Card).

    ·         Copy of ID and driving license card for both of us shows same address which living together.

    ·         Copy of the joint income tax statement for 2015 (2016 NOT wasn't filed that time).

    ·         Copy of joint bank statements.

    ·         Copies of our health insurance cards verifying a joint policy.

    ·         Copies of joint electric bills and internet bills.

    ·         Three sworn affidavits by U.S. citizen friends, attesting to our marriage and continuing relationship.

    ·         Copies of our airline tickets and reservations of our vacation to Sir Lanka in March 2015 including our visas.

    ·         Copy of airline ticket when we came to the USA.

    ·         Pictures of our vacation to Tampa, Florida in November 2015.

    ·         Letter from wife’s doctor verifying her pregnancy and due date.

    My questions,

What can I send besides these 4 options (please correct me if I'm going to send wrong documents).

    1. My son's birth certificate.
    2. Joint income tax return for 2016 & 2017
    3. My wife is pregnant now, I'm going to as her doctor to write approve of pregnancy.
    4. Joint homeowner insurance for last 2 years.

Now, for shared responsibility for a common residence such as leases or mortgage, i paid off my house 3 months ago, and when I bought it my wife wasn't even in the USA so her name never mentioned as ownership besides the homeowner insurance.

    What else can I send?

    Thank you all in advance

I got basically the same RFE. But the lawyer that I spoke with told me that they want to see ALL details of years from 2015-2017 or up until you submitted. I’m talking line by line bank statements, all 3 years tax returns with w2s. Time line of pictures from 2015 tll now.

He said most people don’t have POA or Will so it’s an option not a necessity.

Interesting to hear some people are getting physical letters before the online status changes, I'm going to have to keep my eye out for the mail now.

Hey! Do you have the March glitch about the case being transferred to the local office? It's weird the DHS site has no information about that. Just the Feb date one. Sigh, I am so confused and just ready for this to be over with for now at least.

  9. WAC17048 - Fees Waived

WAC17073 - Transfer to Local Office Glitch

Praying for some movement end of May, beginning of July.

PS. I just got back from a trip to Jamaica. I had to go to the back room for them to check my stamp, it took 10 minutes. The officer I had was very nice, the only updates he saw was from the Fees Waived status update back in Dec 2016 and that I had my biometrics done in January. He said "you've been waiting this whole time" and I said, "yup, just biting my nails". He then said, " you should hear something soon, you'll be fine!"

Guys, be patient and have faith!

ok I have a broken heart. so far tier 2 said my file WAS moved to my local office and I has to wait 17 to 19 month more.

second she said in 2 days I should call back because the computers were non working and I can not place a info update to submit a case inquiry.

    desolated

I think you need to speak with someone else. I don't think that information is correct.

someone has any questions to ask tier 2? they said I have one hour wait till they call me back

The tier 2 will confirm that the case is actually NOT at the Local Office and is in fact still at the CSC within normal processing times.

Tier 1, sees what we see. They really don't know anything.
