Hey thanks Monique for the info.. We do need visitor's visa and almost invariably, the visa is denied if there is a pending immigration application on file. So the spouse cannot travel to the US at all... or the petitioner has to make the trip or remain apart for 2/2.5 years as in F2A.
yup for the most part that is how it usually goes!

Hello Sandyreu , well she posted in this section of the website ( Bringing Family Members of Permanent Residents to America ) , she also stated : Filed for:F-2A Visa
so that is why i am unsure , please note the fact that even USC spouses (from what i have seen posted on different places including dedicated fb groups) were denied b2 visas 50% of the time... while the petition was pending , thanks and hope you have a great day.
I had my visa way before My husband started to file for me. We got married in 2015 when our second son was born.

Monique mentioned that she recd her IL while she was visiting her husband in the US. If her spouse was an LPR, she would not be able to do that... They deny visitors visa if you are a potential immigration. Or have they changed some rules now?
Just to answer your questions my husband is a LPR and I do have a visitors visa. My husband went to the U.S IN 2012 I received my visa in 2011 at the time we were not married.

No. My husband went up on his filing in November 2012, we got married in February 2015 so he is still a LPR.
