If he filed asking for the waiver based on divorce then the ROC cannot be approved until he has submitted a copy of the divorce decree. He'll get an RFE for the divorce decree. You could respond to the RFE with a jointly filed I-751, but it will not be approved if your divorce is still pending. If you want to change the basis of the ROC to jointly filed then you must stop the divorce process.

Hey..there are some of u still here, Natty whats up? Charles..i see u everyday, i bet its not the same tho, we had some good/bad days back then it was alot of fun for the most part, someone was always in trouble. Actually i dont know how to get around with this configuration of sites anymore but trying. Good to hear fr all of u im also on fb now if any of u are there, charles and i are killing people everyday

This still has to do with the filing of remove of conditions..since he doesnt has final answer and we need to know if we can change the filing status NOW or what, since it would not be filed now (as a revision) within the correct time limit

Unfortunately u just described a large percentage of Moroccan men,not all but alot. You can take two roads u can stand your ground and explain to him life here see if he improves or just let it go and feel this is him and hes not going to change. I have been there also, got the divorce and all but i see alot of it was he just didnt really realize, and he is more good than bad, but this is my case. There are many many more that are not so lucky, same problems, they go out with friends, dont want u talking to others of the problems, etc u just have to look at ur situation and do what is necessary, they do not change!!!

In removal on cond. divorce was filed just before..judge signed, 6 months waiting period until end of April. He filed as divorced...now we decide to get back togeter..what does this do to the original filing as divorced and wht do we need to do (or not do) just let it go thru then get back together or what? im betting we are not the first to change our minds..

sorry i have not read all and have not been active here for awhile but marrying is not a sure way to get the visa...you take a big chance to marry and still not get the visa, address whatever issues you know might be holding you back and it may take years to solve all this...
-
we married in about 3 weeks but everyday is full and busy, i would have to go back and look up all the papers required, but send as much ahead as u can and let them already have it translated once there he needed my drivers license and u have to give them the statement concering your religion, there was a back groud, a statement from my job and bank best i can remember birth certificate, i just dont really remember all. i rmember one trip to casa and 2 to rabet and a friend had to sneak one of the papers in or we would still be standing there waiting, same in the city courts if you dont know someone if will take forever and be prepared to pay a little extra for the services
-
just need to figure all this new stuff out
-
nagi help i have move around on here now ha
-
thats it ha
-
if the family has a (family) dr there the physical may cost nothing, mine didnt and he never even checked me other than shook my hand..the translation can vary...i dont remember the other costs BUT be prepared to pay, lets say the (helpful) fees that are required to get anything done in a timely manner. Like we paid a friend a (fee) becase the line was long and he put our document inside his shirt and went in and gave it to his dad, otherwise we might have had to come back the next day...it can get expensive
-
Just saying its been a long time since i posted here
-
2 years last november
-
it CAN happen in 3 weeks with money and spending every min doing the running and dealing, have your translator lined up, maybe send some things ahead of time and have him already working on them etc
-
most of our mail has always taken close to two weeks no matter what they tell you so be careful....and dont cut the time to short and some can be very costly
-
The reason for so many denials is that there is so much fraud. My fiance finally got his visa after waiting close to 4 years from his 1st interview!
Never give up hope!
wow finally you should have emiled me, BUT there is another side, ahmeds brother met this girl, they met etc etc...she filed visa....then they broke up....she never canceled....got back togeter and he went for first interview got it and is to return in a week to get the visa. Now how do you explain hardly no relationship compared to someone who has waited years?????

slim is a he.

I called the embassy today and they told me that the officer was reviewing the information and he is just in AP and they would contact him. And at the same time I was talking to them on phone I received this email:
Dear Madam,
Thank you for your email inquiry. Your fiancé’s case requires additional administrative processing. We will notify him as soon as the processing is complete.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.

But even though they say AP still doesnt sound good by the way the interview went. I wonder if anyone else has had crappy interviews like this and still gotten approved.
All the Moroccan males cases to go throught the AP no matter what ....
no not ALL cases go thru AP
ours didnt and he got visa the next day BUT this was the second application after first being denied

seems once we remarry before the 6 months waiting period that will stop the process then i guess we will just re file together, he did get a request for the FINAL decree, which they had because it is final when the judge signs but we can remarry within this 6 months to each other just not to anyone else
