We received it 3 days after approval email was sent - very quick!

If he is entering and K1 is in process this could present problems. He will be in the system. They may let him in they may not. My fiance (husband now) was turned back at POE when we had the K1 pending. Even though he had a return ticket, strong ties etc.....they are very cautious about entry when a K1 is pending. It will definitely come up in the system when he goes through immigration.

The card came in the mail today, and it has some green on it at least! As well as a bizarre gold thing on the back. Card expires Nov 29th, 2016 so I've got a while before I have to worry about USCIS again.

Thanks to everyone who helped me along the way on here. I hope I have also helped people on here still on their journey too.

To those who are waiting for their green cards, good luck and have patience. I know what its like to wait, I once was stuck in the USA waiting for visa approval for 2 1/2 years. I lost 2 grandparents in that time as well, so I know how much it sucks to be stuck in USCIS limbo. I feel for all you guys and hope that you'll get approved soon.

However, I'm extremely happy that now I have full freedom to leave and re-enter the USA. My journey ends here. Next stop: Citizenship.

My only concern is they put an entry in her passport saying she had been denied along with a case number(I think....its some kind of number)......will this be an issue for the visa?

Copy the number out here exactly and we'll show you how to look up the piece of law she was refused with.

Then you can know if it will be a problem or not.

Not a problem at all. My fiance was denied entry when our K1 was pending too. It had absolutely no effect on the K1 and his visa was issued without any problem.

I noticed my message has changed this morning at CSC. It used to say when it arrived and had not changed through subsequent touches.

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS that was transferred to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location is now pending there....

Anyone else seen this?...I hope it does nt mean they found a dusty box to put it in!

Looks like you have been transfered to CSC .... you may well get approved very soon without interview....

Well, we got an email about being transferred over a month ago, on October 10th. I didn't realise it takes over a month for them to actually SEND the petiton to CSC. At least that's how it looks to me.

We were transferred on 10-4 and we got the same email today saying it had been received. I saw in another thread today that someone else that was transferred on 10-4 also go the "received for processing" email today.

We finally got an email saying our case has been received at CSC for processing. We were transferred on 10-4. At least now I know its there!

I totally agree! We were transferred on 10-4 and have received no email to say it has even been received. Soooooo frustrating. I am very happy for all the quick approvals but for those of us getting farther to the top of the list it is so depressing. No point in calling - like you say it just makes you angrier.

Exactly the same here. Transferred on 10/4 and NOTHING except for a touch on 10/10 which I pray was CSC receiving it and not them actually mailing it.....gotta have a tiny bit of hope somewhere.

Your timeline is real close to ours. Since we were both transferred on 10-4 I am hoping we might get approved around the same time -- well you have to have a little hope!!

We have only had one touch since being at CSC too on 10-21.

Ok so for everyone who is in the same position as me, having an email saying it was transferred and then no more news since, no touches etc, I called the mis-info line to see what the processing times for a transferred AOS is so that I know how long I should wait before writing to my representative etc (have no plans to do that yet as been waiting only 60 days, with no touches since the original email but it's always good info to have) and they told me to call back after 90 days! First it's 30 days, then it's after 60days and now it's after 90 days! The lady did say that they are transferring so many cases to CSC that the uscis actually do not give themselves an amount of time to process the application so it's never outside of projected processing timeframes, which is convenient for them as most congressmen will only help if it's outside of projected processing timeframes. I don't know why I even bother to call them, it just makes me angrier about the whole process.

That's my rant for the day

i haven't been able to log on since yesterday... can still check with receipt number but can't see if applications have been touched...

Same here can't see the touches but can check by putting in a receipt number........how frustrating! Hope they get it fixed soon!

I was transferred on Oct 4th and have not received any sort of notice (email or mail) that they received it. We were touched on Oct 10th but that's it. I called the 1800 number and just got yelled at for comparing my case to other peoples when I told her I was aware that other people got notices of receipt. I called again and got told to call back 30 days after the transfer since it can take that long but I feel fairly sure that on Nov 3rd I'll get no help from them again. So, you aren't alone, but we are some of very few that don't get receipt notices which worries me!

We were also transferred on 10-4 and have received nothing as far as receipt. EAD and AP was approved last week but AOS hasn't been touched since 10-21.................I am assuming it's at CSC but who knows! Let us know what response you get from them when you call.

i just got an RFE.

my wife has made over a million dollars a year for the last 4 years. i couldn't send her 2005 tax forms because she files in 5 states and another country. they are complex and arent complete yet.

i sent the previous three years tax forms .

i have been retired since 1999.

i also sent copies of my brokerage account > $500,000 and a copy of her brokerage account > $1,000,000 with a letter saying that "if we were both retired we would still qualify based just on assets" i wrote that note because i suspected that they cant use their brains and figure out that if she has clearly paid over $300,000 in taxes for three years then she probably qualifies for the $20,000 poverty line.

well sure enough, they cant use their brains.

now they want a letter from her employer showing among other things "prospects for advancement"

i near wet myself laughing at the idea that if she doesnt get a raise they wont let me stay!

i know this just slows things down for us and i know we are very fortunate in our life. we really feel for people who struggle to find additional sponsors or to make ends meet.

however, i really had to share the boneheadedness of this one with you.

Weird. I mailed my application, hmm, must have been the first week of September or so. Maybe I should call them? Could my application have gotten lost?

I mailed mine and 4 weeks later still no transcripts. I called and was told they could take 45 days. When I called the lady was very nice and she ordered me another set. The 2nd set arrived after two weeks. The first set (which I mailed in) did eventually come but it was 6 weeks after ordering them! My advice call don't mail in. Hope this helps!
