We wouldn't be filing anything with the Canadian government, and we wouldn't be staying there in Canada. All I wanted was to do ceremony for her family then come back the next day and either go to the justice of peace to legalize it. But if it's a bad idea then I will not do it. Oh and I wasn't talking about getting married before the k1 is approved, I was speaking about once the k1 is approved and she has the okay to come into the state's and marry.

Hi, I have recently been approved by USCIS to sponsor my fiance here in the US. We are still awaiting a interview date for her. My question is, once we are approved and she gets the K1 visa, could we have a wedding ceremony in Canada for her family and friends and soon after the weddinv sign all legal documents in Canada by an ordained minister from the US (Indiana). Then once we have crossed the boarder the following day, could we just date the certificate and send it off?
