Just got an update, DHL picked it up, it's scheduled for delivery tomorrow!
Wow this is so much faster than the whole CR1 process, so exciting!
Did you guys stay in Juarez for pick up or are you having it shipped else where in Mexico? Just wondering if that makes a difference on how quick the delivery is ready for you guys!

I checked out status while at the airport today and it said last updated today, so I'm wondering if that's with the tracking info that was added.
It was too late to call so I'll try tomorrow.
I've seen on average its about 3 days later but since they had computer system problems recently it could take longer.
Thank you for the response. I appreciate the update, please keep us posted 🙏🏽

You also don't need to travel to your home state.
My husband got his in CDJ and he is from Guadalajara.
@Laura2017Your husband got his Mexico police record (certificado de no antecedentes penales) in Ciudad Juarez? He didn't have to travel to his home state? Would you happen to know if a picture of him was taken during his request for police record? Thank you for your help in advance.

Congrats!
1. -If your husband lived in Mexico for more than 6 months then he needs a police certificate from his home State.
-If your husband has lived in the US for more than 6 months, he needs a police certificate from the US.
-If he has lived in any other country for over 12 months, he needs a police certificate from that country.
I think he's gonna need to travel to his home state because they take a picture of you and include it on the certificate.
2. It can be delivered somewhere other than Juarez. If you stay in Juarez it takes about 3 days. If not, it takes from 5 to 7 days.
Hope it helps.
Can I ask how long did it take from Case Completed at NVC to interview schedule? Thanks
Case Completed 9/20 and our interview was scheduled on Dec 1 2017 for January 9, 2018.

I believe the guidlelines reflect that any state that the applicant has lived on after the age of 18 must be provided ??
Also, when was your case complete date ?

Hi all! My husbands interview is in CDJ on January 9, 2018!! Super excited but I have two questions that we are confused on and hoping someone can reply with help!
1: Can the police record from Mexico (or certificado de no antecedentes penales) be gotten there in Juarez before the day of his interview, or does it have to be from the Mexican state he grew up in 18 years ago? (My husband has lived in USA for 18 years and is flying straight to Cuidad Juarez for his interview, having to get it in his hometown in Mexico would be a whole other trip)
2: As far as the courier service goes to pick up your packet after your interview is approved, do you have to pick it up there in Juarez or can you select the courier service to be delivered in another state in mexico? Does anyone know if there is a time difference, or which option is less of a hassle? THANKS IN ADVANCE

Hello! I am hoping someone can answer this question for me, my husband is currently in Juarez now preparing for his interview on Tuesday we are a CR1 case (he already had his medical and biometrics done 🙏🏽). Because he is not from Juarez my husband selected DHL service in his home state of Guanajuato. My understanding is that his passport would be delivered sealed already with his visa and we would be able to enter the US anytime after that through whatever airport we chose however he was told by someone in Juarez that there are only certain immigration ports in Mexico (Juarez & Mexico City for example) that you have to fly through and that is where they actually seal your passport? Anyone have any info on this? Thanks in advance!
