  1. Hello,

I did my Biometrics, Just finger prints, and photo. And then she just stamped on my Biometric appointment letter with the date.

I wanted to know, was there anything else to.

People who have done with the Biometric can you please share their experience.

I have seen people with who did biometric in August 1st week their I-485 status showing case ready to be  scheduled for interview

Hey guys, I have a question. Upon reading some stories about biometrics, I am kinda confused and worried. I know I have to bring an I.D., but what kind of I.D. will they accept? I have no state I.D. or any Identification with my married name on it. AND my passport is expired. I do, however, identifications from my home country that is still valid up to now BUT they're on my maiden name. What should I bring?

As you must have seen on the biometric appointment letter documents one can bring for ID, it's mostly government ID, be may the ID from home country or US. How is your name written on the Bio appointment letter, ID should match with it. if you don't have any take expired passport, it better than not carrying any ID

Nope, not yet. Based on a few timelines that I have seen from the end of June, it should be coming in the next couple of days (we will see if that holds true). I did see that ONE person who applied at the beginning of June already got their interview letter already (for August). Meanwhile there are others from that batch that haven't even received their NOA1's yet, let alone biometrics.

Thanks for the information, that's amazing Agust interview. Again there are many variables into play.

HI everyone, my package got delivered and signed by JC on 7/5, however it's been 12 days and I still haven't got any text/email receipt, nor has my check been cashed.

Seeing lots of July filers having their package delivered later than 7/5 but already got all the update, also done lots of online research, I'm almost 100% sure my package has been rejected by Lockbox at Chicago...However I haven't got returned package to my mailbox either.

The only thing I can think of that I did wrong, is that instead of writing one check for $1225 for I-485, I wrote 2 separate ones, $1140+$85. Although people told me that those 2 separate checks worked for them, I still am not confident that the person who reviewed my package liked it...

I sent an email to LockboxSupport@uscis.dhs.gov and hopefully can hear back from them about what happened with my case...

Fingers crossed. It's a real struggle daily to see nothing change on my bank account & quiet email/phone.

    op

    :(:(:(

don't worry U will hear from them soon. Even I think 2 separate checks should not matter.

Do let us know what happens and when you hear from them.

    Good Luck !

Our paper NOA1s came in the mail today. All 4 of them! Informed Delivery was great.

    6/30 - Mailed Out (I-485, I-130, I-131, I-785)

7/3 - Received and Signed by JC & Priority Date

    7/10 - Texts/Emails Received

    7/11 - Checks cashed ($1225 and $535 for I-485 and I-130)

    7/15 - NOA1s Received

My priority date was the date they received (7/3) and not the date they cashed checks or sent texts. Hope that helps relieve some anxiety.

Hope the biometrics notice will come soon! :)

    Happy weekend all.
