  1. Im really not great at how this web page works, but I need to ask about the Cover Letter for the K-1 I-129f Visa form. I am seeing and reading many different examples and many different requirements about what is actually required to put in the letter.  I have seen some examples simply stating that each person, beneficiary and petitioner, must write their own letter stating that he/she has the intention of getting married within the 90 day period.  Some have said you must put how we met, when etc....Our love story.  Other examples have been very short and to the point saying we have the intention of getting married.  Can someone clarify how the cover letter must look like? Do we both need to make one?  Or would one be OK with both of our signatures?  What is it required to entail?

    Hi There,

Do you mean 38b?  If not, you may wish to check and ensure you have the latest I-129F form, as it sounds like you may be running an old revision.  Check here:

Regarding your question, this is only if your Fiance is still in the country:

"If your beneficiary is currently in the United States, complete Item Numbers 38.a - 38.h"

If your fiance is back in Spain,  You do not need to have their I-94 Information.

    Good luck!

Thank you so much!!! you are so kind to have helped me! Im reading it over again and I have realized my mistake. He came to visit last summer for about 3 and a half weeks and went back to Spain.  Do I say that he came as a visitor? 38.a.
