I had my interview today and got approved. Alhamdolilah.

some questions they asked were who is calling u, where you coming from, how long he's been there, have u been out of country and if so, which countries.

 

they kept her passport and told her they will call her when she can come pick it up. shes about 2 hours away from isl and theres no delivery option only pick up so she will have to go and pick it up....

The interview questions seem simple. Please tell me did your wife take albums from the wedding? Cuz my wedding albums are huge and I’m thinking if I should take those or get some extra photos printed. 

Also? Did your wife have pervious international or Us travel?

Thank you for sharing your experience at Abu Dhabi. How long was ur layover as usually it is not more than 4 hours? I intend to take an etihad flight too iA once i get my visa.

Did you find out about this? I know for non-immigrant visas you have to pick up your passport  from AEG office in Islamabad. Please let me know if you find out the procedure.

Did you guys receive the interview letter in mail? or print out of the interview email is good enough for medical and interview? and what about the I-864 form, do I make my husband mail me the original signed form or just a print out of the scanned copy is good enough?

Hi everyone!

I just got 2 emails.

One says that NVC has received all documents and the embassy will schedule the interview and one other one says petitioner needs to submit W2 forms. 

2 messages on the Ceac portal too. One saying documentary qualified other saying that petitioner needs to submit the W2 form. 

Status is still submit required documents.

Called NVC the guy said i dont need to submit the W2 form. I need to bring it to the embassy. 

Thoughts anyone? I am confused cuz the status doesn't say "at nvc"

On the CEAC website, we got a message saying our documents are approved and document Status changed to “accepted” for both AOS and civil documents. 

 

Also got an email telling us all of our documents are approved by the NVC! 

Congratulations! I am hoping for our CC today! we submitted everything on 19th April! *Fingers crossed*

Totally normal. Our NOA2 was dated 13th Dec 2017, Online status changed to Sent to DOS on 22nd January 2018 and NVC Received our file 30th January 2018.

We uploaded all our documents on 19th April (Pivot case). Do we need to call NVC for an update or just wait for the case complete email?

We paid the AOS and IV fee on Tuesday(10th April) and I cannot access the DS 260 although when i checked my status on the case tracker it says NVC received the fee and i should log in and fill out the DS 260. anyone else faced this issue?

GOOD NEWS GUYS! I just got our case number when I called NVC and my husband had received the email this morning- he check after i told him that we have the case number! Waited for 10 long weeks!

NVC Received: 30th January 2018

Case Number Assigned: 10th April 2018

Hi I am with you too. 10 weeks today. Please update when you get your case number. I called NVC yesterday and the guy said we should be getting the email with welcome letter and case number this week. I really hope we do.

yeah my wife lives in abbotabad so got one police certificate from there but since her family home is in lahore she also got one from lahore i think because different district. theres some rule not sure about. so two police certificate.

 

photographs not required after i spoke with nvc so i just uiploaded pic where i wrote i spoke with nvc rep and they said photo not requried now but my wife will bring passport photos to interview.

 

i also uploaded 2 marriage certificate . one had the original in urdu and english translations together in one file. they said if u have translation, have on one file not two. i also uploaded nadra marriage certificate.

 

then uploaded her passport biographic page in portrait not landscape,  i think thats it.

Congrats on your CC! CC in 2 weeks is not bad. All the best for next phase. 

For me it was 9 weeks this Tuesday and still no case number. They did give an Invoice Number though on Tuesday and said we should expect and email this week. I have my fingers crossed. I really hope we get it this week so that we can submit the documents and fee asap. Its gonna be 4 months from NOA2 on 13th April. I have never counted days like this in my life.

How long does a pivot case take from SD to CC?

No they did not take those details. just the receipt number. but everytime i call they tell me that the case is sent to the supervisor for review on 21st. so i am hoping they did.
