Good question, I would add a separate note explaining that and giving the year.
I'd like to ask too, what do you put for 'visa' if you entered on the visa waiver program and didn't have one?
Hi,I need some advices. On the #25 on the DS-230 form, they ask to list the dates of all previous visits to the United States. The problem is that 10 years ago, I went there frequently and I don't remember the dates - I didn't keep the previous passports.
What should I do?
Thank you,
Cecile.

I'm getting ready to fill in the DS-230, and plan to put in the POE for Location. As for Type of Visa, I'm thinking of putting "B1/B2" for when I had this visa in my old Passport and "N/A (on VWP)" for when I got a new Passport without a visa and travelled under the Visa Waiver Program.
25. List dates of all previous visits to or residence in the United States. (If never, write "never") Give type of visa status,If known. Give DHS "A" Number if any. From / To - Location - Type of Visa - "A" NO (If Known) ?
Under location what do you put? POE? -
All 3 POE'S was Los Angeles, With my New Passport I have 1 entry to USA,
Stamped by Chicago U.S. IMMIGRATION,90 Day Visitors Visa.
I have my old passport with multiple entries (3) into USA 90 day visitors visa ,
Issued by the Melbourne Consulate ,
Back then they gave you a 5 Year Multiple Non Immigrant Visa Stamp in Passport.
Am confused.. Any Would be appreciated
Cheers

Thank you for your advice. I'm planning on looking into cashier's checks on Monday as the word 'money order' seems to confuse people over here, especially when I add 'in US dollars drawn on a US bank'!
I would try a branch of a bank that has offices in the UK and USA, for example HSBC they should be able to generate a cashiers check in US dollars. -
Hi there,
I (the beneficiary & agent of an I-130 petition) received the $380 IV bill from the NVC recently. I am unsure however of how to obtain a money order for it here in the UK. The post office seemed unable to do a money order in US$, while the bank didn't seem to understand what it was and asked me if I wanted a banker's draft instead.
For the sake of safety, I would like to go through one of these institutions. Should I perhaps go back to the bank and ask about getting a cashier's cheque in US$ instead? My main concern is that I adhere to the statement on the bill "Please return this portion with a cashier's check or money order in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. bank"
Thanks for taking the time to read this, any UK-specific advice would be appreciated!

Yeah, good question. I wonder if it's possible to arrange for a later interview date than the one scheduled, or be granted some sort of extension on the visa, so it doesn't run out before it's actually used!
