I had my interview on Nov. 9th. Already recieved Green Card. Filed in May 11th, got RFE for a birth certificate lost in june and we hurried to send another one, figerprints also in june, EA and AP card in the mail september 17th, and on Sept 27th, we recieved notification for our interview appointment for Nov. 9th. We went to San Diego, the interview was a piece of cake (at least for me because we had tons of photos and intineraries of trips we made together since we were dating) and I g ot my Green Card in the mail last week.

Just got the e-notification that my interview has been scheduled for next month. My online status never stated  "ready to interview", it jumped straight from RFIE received to interview scheduled.

Just wanted to post an update that we had our interview today and it was a million times easier than I ever imagined it being. Once my husband was sworn in the officer straight up told us it would be quick and painless. He only went over questions such as criminal record etc (formalities I suppose), looked at my husband's passport, EAD and drivers license and told us we'd get the card in the mail within 30 days. The entire thing took about 10 minutes. So relieved to finally be done with USCIS for the next 2 years. But best of luck to all my fellow May filers, I am thinking of you all and wishing you the best of luck in going through this.

We had our aos interview this morning! We were approved on the spot!!!!!!! Though it didn't make the interview any less intimidating lol.
We arrived about 15 mins before our 11am appt in Norfolk, VA. They called us back to a private room about 11:15. She had us raise our right hands and swear in. The first thing she asked is if we had any evidence to present to support our marriage. I brought joint phone bill, rental lease with both our names, joint car insurance, my life insurance with him listed as the beneficiary. She didn't even glance at them or blink an eye.  She was just staring at us saying "uh huh... ok.. what else" (talk about intimidating) then she asked for pictures to add to our file and all i had was our wedding album and a screenshot of our photographers blog. So she seemed kind of annoyed and asked to look through our album. Then she started asking about the timeline of our entire relationship and the dates of life events like cancer and the death of his dad.. (?) She continued looking through our album and said she rarely sees actual weddings rather than a courthouse style wedding. She started to tear up and expressed how much love she sees between us and how blessed we are by God. She went from intimidatingly tough to soft and sweet and said she recommends us for approval and that she hopes to find a love like ours someday. We had the online status change by the time we walked out to the car!!!  We were with her about 20 minutes!

I was concerned about the health packet because we never sent or filled out any health paperwork or vaccine papers with his AOS because they took it at his port of entry and we had no copies of anything! I figured we would get an RFE to have his health redone since it's been over a year since the one for k-1 but all she said was "his health packet was submitted for his k-1 correct?" And we said yes and she said great!

I think that's about all the details I can remember! Glad to be done for 2 years!

Oh And our "local" field office is 5 hours away....

Today was our interview appointment at 08:50 am.
We arrived 08:20 at the office.  i was really nervous... we were sitting in the waiting room when a officer came at 08:45 and asked if we can start earlier.  He was around 35 years. we went to his office and he said we should stand up for the oath that we will tell the truth. he wanted to see my passport and my husbands ID.  i had everything in a folder with post-its and he was impressed and said it's good that i'm so organized. than i gave my fingerprints. after that we, chatted about the weather bc it was raining really bad.  He asked me about my full name, date of birth and where i was born.  He wanted to know If this is the first marriage for us and i said yes and the last.  We all laughed. than he read my address and asked if this is correct and if i lived somewhere else before in the US.  After that he asked all the yes/no question on the form (those are the ones like 'have you ever killed somebody?') after that he asked how and when we met and how many times i visited the US after we met. How the wedding was and if we made any trips inside the US.  he wanted to see support evidence ( we had life insurance, health care, car insurance, power bill, internet bill) and asked if he could keep them. i asked him if he wants to see pictures or something else but he said no and that he has enough proof. than he said everything looks good and he will double check all papers again and normally during the day my case is approved and my greencard will arrive in 4-6 weeks or earlier.  if not he will send us a letter with the papers they need but he said it looks really good and we should not worry. at the end he printed papers and explained how to apply for the 10 years green card in 2 years.    after 25 minutes we left his office.   it was more like an nice conversation than an interview an the officer was really nice.

    Hey All

So today I'm on 91 days and I called a tier 2 officer this morning to ask why I have not recieved my EAD, well as usual they are not sure but to add to the pain he could not put in a second service request as the first one I did on day 75 is still pending which I wish I had not done as they apparently mainly look at the ones over 90 days, so I then have to wait till the 21st to send an email to this Service request department. I guess the only good news is that he said my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview but it does not show up online so I have no idea what to go on.

With regards to normal RFE I had the first tier 2 officer tell me about 2 weeks ago it didn't affect my EAD but then today I got told it would have so again do they even know what's going on.

if anyone has advice for the EAD that would be great.

It appears as though you are right :-( I just checked the Tip Sheet for EAD. It says the clock will reset on the date they receive the information they need.

"To determine whether your case has been pending more than 75 days, you must consider the following:
If USCIS issues a request for initial evidence, the 90-day regulatory timeframe will start over from the date USCIS receives the initial evidence. For example, if your case is pending 60 days when USCIS issues a request for initial evidence, and you respond 30 days later, the “clock” will be reset to Day 1 on the date USCIS receives the evidence." I have seen other posters say that the request had no impact on their EAD, only the I-485. I guess I will find out either next week when my initial 90 days passes, or 5 Sept when (if!) I get my response to my SR. I will update everyone on here.

For info, the case status on my EAD never changed the whole time that they were seeking initial evidence, only my I-485 status changed to show they were awaiting initial evidence. For my I-485 I've been 'ready to be scheduled for interview' since Jun 29. In fact my EAD status has been the same ever since it was created ('case was received 24 May')
