Congrats, Diced!!!!! How long did you have to respond to the RFE? I received an email saying that the RFE was sent my way on Sept 14, but I still haven't received the letter yet. I sent a service request on Oct 04 and still waiting for the response. I am really nervous now.

Thank you. In my case, the notice date on the RFE letter was August 4. I received the actual letter in the mail on August 10 and I was given until October 27 to submit the requested information. Hopefully the deadline to respond to the RFE would be extended for you. Well, we all know RFEs have to do with providing MORE evidence about your ongoing marriage (even though I might have resent the same set of documents I sent to them in the first place), I would suggest that you gather as much evidence as possible now that you are waiting on the letter, so as not to waste anymore time when you finally receive it. Best of luck

Congrat, I see you have been approved, still waiting. Did you receive text messages or emails towards that effect?

  3. Hi all,

My NOA is 06/17/2017. I received a RFE yesterday in the mail demanding more document. I am compiling the documents to send but my main concern is, I requested a change of address sometime last month and my phone conversation with a tier 2 officer last week confirmed that the my new address has been updated. I originally sent my ROC packet to CSC. The service center for my new address is VSC. Does anyone know if USCIS will transfer my file to my new service center or would it not matter that my service center changed and they will proceed to adjudicate at the VSC.

I need to know this so as to send my RFE response to the appropriate service center address.

    Thanks

I understand that your wife is in Indiana and you in New Hampshire. Probably you should explain why you are not living together, the reason is the key point in your case but the requirements are met, 3 years married, 3 years living in the US, unless that you are in a divorce process. Remember that in the case of naturalization for marriage both spouses need to go to the interview, is like the first time you applied for the Green Card, but in this case for naturalization

Thanks for your reply. My wife and I are still together and we are able to attend the interview together if that happens to be a requirement.

  5. Hello everyone,

I am currently still in the ROC process. NOA date is 06/17/2016. Though I haven't received my GC or approval letter, I am considering filing N400 but I have a couple of questions pertaining the residency requirement. My wife and I have lived in Indiana since we got married. My GC was issued on 09/05/2014 and expired on 09/05/2016 but recently I got a job in New Hampshire and moved there in April 2017. I have traveled to Indiana 3 times since then. Now my question is, do I meet the 3 years requirement for marriage based naturalization since it states that one must have continuously lived with the USC spouse for 3 years. Also, am I able to file from NH or return to IN to file the N-400.
