If that is a checklist, it generally means a new scan date and starting all over again. I had a checklist and my 2nd scan date is November 28, I am still waiting...You may however be one of the few cases that get completed in a matter of days. Everything in possible with them

It says that is a Checklist for Household Member.., hopefully they don’t give a different scan date.

    What documents were you missing?

  2. Hello everyone!

Last night I got an email saying that I need to send some missing documents, I called today in the morning and it seems like there is only one page missing in one of the I864 forms. I already send the form all over again. My question is if my case is gonna take another 6 weeks or they are going to just add this package to the first one? Does anybody have gone thru this?

Any help will be deeply appreciate!

this wait is killing my Holliday spirit :(

  3. Hello everyone!

Congrats to all the CC and patience to the rest of us that are still waiting. Keep in mind that soon the wait is going to be worth it.

I have a question: I send my documents 11/14 and my Scan Date is 11/20. I’ve been trying to check my husband’s visa status but the system keeps showing me this page...

Does anybody else has the same problem? Should I be worry about it? Or this is normal?

Thank you in advance, any answer, opinion helps.

  4. Hello everyone!

I just got the NVC welcome letter with the Invoice I.D Number and chose an agent. In the intructions it says that I need to allow 2-3 weeks to NVC to process my DS-261; However the fees to pay for both AOS and IV are available already. Is it okay to pay them or I need to wait to receive a continue letter from NVCPlease allow up to 3 weeks for the NVC to process your DS-261 before continuing to the next step.

Please help me. I am doing the whole process by myself and my husband doesn't speak English so as much as he wants to help, he can't do much.

Also I am going to have a joint sponsor, does that means that I don't need to send my taxes report from the last three years? Or that I need to send mine and my joint sponsor's forms?

    THANKS IN ADVANCE!

  5. Hello everyone!

I am a little confuse about the whole waiting situation. I thought after getting i130 approved the process was gonna be faster but it's going to be almost a month since USCIS approved my application and I haven't heard anything from NVC. Does anybody has an idea how long do I have to wait for my BIN from NVC? or a suggestion of what to do?

For a little background my PD is march 6th, my case was approved august 31st but I received my approval letter until September 5th; my case was sent to Department of State for visa processing on September 19. How long should I wait before I call them?

Any help will be deeply appreciate it. Good luck to y'all!

Hi guys, I sent my husband's package 17th March.  Got my first NOA within 10 days. Priority date is March 16th. Our case was routed to TSC. Still awaiting my second NOA. Checked the processing time for TSC and the dates jumped from 9/2/16 to 5/31/17. Not sure what's going on but I'm keeping fingers crossed here. Good luck to everyone!

It seems like USCIS processing times is not accurate but it you go to VJ processing times you can see people updating their cases. http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=2&visa=3&scenter=3&option=3&sortby=2

as of right now it seems like they are still working on January and some February cases.

  9. I rarely comment on this blog but I read every comment of you guys. I am lucky to see my husband once a month after we didn't see each other for almost 4 months, now that we are both done with school with have more time to focus on our relationship. It is still really hard to say bye, I wish he can be with me already. Sometimes I get really emotional but reading your stories make me feel blessed I am not too far from him. I found this blog not too long ago and honestly I would of be crazy by now without it because the processing times in USCIS is not updated.
    Best of luck y'all!!

  10. Hello everyone! March 6 is my priority date, my case was send to TSC and I have noticed that the dates haven't changed for the last three months. The processing date for i130 is still in September 2,16 while CSC is already in January. Does anybody has an idea why? I am trying to be patient but I am also dying to have my husband with me already...

I am glad i found this blog with other people in the same page as me
