I could find any job on 90 days of unemployment rule. II was on opt status. Should I tell my dso about this. What can I do?

I did told my dso. He told me if I can find a job I can still report it. What should I do? Should i find a job? or try to change my level of status. Should i get a job? What do you guys think?
