  1. Judy seriously is Hicham divorcing you because it is taking too long for him?

yes i'm afraid so he won't wait I think he needs someone's comfortingwords he just feels that it's taking to long and that i'm not doing anything to help us i've worked so hard since the beginning and everytime i get information he doesn't believe a word i tell him. he does no research but sits and reads on visa journey all the approvals from people who filed after us are getting approved right and left. I don't know what to do i want to keep fighting this battle he never thinks about what i feel the hurt i'm feeling to. I know he loves me the life there is hard for him his family wont help him i know what his heart desires it's just that he has to much anger and takes everything out on me. I'm struggling from day to day and working hard and i get no comfort from him whatsoever no hope no good job judy nothing just anger. Now he asked for a Divorce, I don't know what happened to the beautiful man i married but i believe now i've lost him he made the choice to divorce not me. I will continue this to the end with or without him and when we do get approved he will never know about it the hurt he has had me endure is to much you don't hurt the people you love and he has done this many times then apologized using his excuse of anger. my self esteem is out the window but i'm strong enough to get through this. he lost a good loving woman and i deserve better than what i'm getting from him so it hurts but i need to stop and be happy again i will never forget the true love i married this man now is not the man i married. And i feel i will never find him again :(

  2. Dear Judy:

A response to Congressman Gutknecht's request for information was received from the National Benefits...

In reference to the above case, it was received at the Chi Lockbox 6/15/2006. A Request for Additional Evidence was mailed on 7/1/06. Responses to that request were received in July and September. The case is currently being processed through the customary steps by an adjudicator. I cannot give you a timeline for the completion. The normal processing time for these applications is 90 days from the receipt of the Request for Additional Evidence.

This indicates that you should receive a decision on this application by the end of the year.

The I-130 having been selected for detailed review is a random thing. Most agencies have these random reviews as regular procedure. We're not certain how long that review will take because USCIS does not provide estimations does anyone have any comforting words for us

Here is the information that was received into Congressman Gutknecht's office. This was received from the California Service Center...

The I-130, WAC has been selected for detailed review which means it will take longer than normal processing time. If the U SCIS should discover information requiring verification, the petitioner will be contacted. We appreciate the constituent's assistance in helping us to ensure the integrity of our immigration system. Thank You for your kind words we just don't know anything and my husband reads all the approvals everyone has been getting and we filed on March 10th of this year and there now working on march 20th's I-130's We are trying to understand why they are doing this we have no answers and my husband feels we"ve been denied because it has taken so long do you have any input about this statement from the california service center any thoughts or knowledge you might have will save us I love him so much

  6. Hi Everyone just have a question and if anyone can give us some idea of what's possibly going on for my husband and I we received the NOA 1 on March 14th I was told now they are working on March 20th"s I-130"s there 3 days behind this is what USCIS told me, were starting on 7 months now since we filed the I-130 they told me to wait a couple of days to get the letter and i was also told that it will take 2 more weeks for them to do any updating, I have called everyday this is the last response i got when i called our I-129F hasn't been updated since June on our USCIS portfolio's our I-129F was recently updated on September 19th then the I-130 says adjudicated as soon as september 24 well not a word since nothing, just kep getting a different answer each time i call Just wondering what everyone thinks about this it seems to me our I-130 is long overdue it's so confusing to know what's the real facts just need everyone's input on maybe what we could do to get facts calling seems not to be much help, also i read that it was possible to apply for a Visitors Visa which allows husbands to come to the United States for a short time to visit anyone know about this i've checked into information in the USCIS site just wondering if anyone knows of this or has done this any help would be appreciated.. Thank's Everyone

  7. :(:crying: I appreciate all the help i was given, sometimes there are people who just don't understand the hurt that this journey which we all go through creates and some of the responses people get are really not called for this site is to help people not make remarks not called for! I wish everyone the best of Luck on your journeys and God bless

  9. Hi everyone: Well called USCIS again and still no answers, I have been told so many different things I thought it was about time to get some kind of help so I contacted my Congressman, Im not sure about other Via Journey couples on here not being able to get answers just the same thing said over and over well maybe now I'll get some answers this processing needs to start caring about people instead of saying over and over this is all the information we have at this time, there must be something we can do to feel alittle more hope going through this difficult process and I was told they very seldom update there USCIS site if you are registered and have your receipt numbers in your portfolio to receive emails on updates the last time ours was updated was in june you follow me so hopefully everyone this will be a way to atleast fee more hopeful as far as knowing they are caring and working as hard as they can to bring all of our loved ones together in shorter time Best of Luck to everyone may your dreams come true and be with your loved ones soon!! :)

  13. Hi, and welcome to the MENA forum. If you're doing a K3, as it says in your filed for column, you have to send an I-129F to Chicago after you receive the NOA1 for the I-130. You make no mention of that. Have you done that?

I called USCIS yesterday atleast 4 times the first 2 times i was told that our I-130 has been transfered to california service center which i had no idea and was never sent anything notifying us of this action that was taken so, i got very frustrated my husband and I called back a 5 th time well this woman was very pleasant and very helpful one of the most almost feeling trustworthy conversation she ask for receipt numbers which our I-130 the NOA was received on the 14th of March i was told that they are now working on March 8ths and we should receive a letter in 1 week. well then i asked her what will happen after that if we are approved she told me first thing i will receive the NOA if approved letter in 1 week then the same letter will be sent to the consulate to where my beautiful husband lives in Morocco and she said after they receive that he will be issued a Visa to come into the United States where i live in Minnesota. Is this true can we really believe this does it happen this way I pray it does this has been such a difficult road for all of us being away from the ones we love could this be the miracle weve been waiting for please any comments or help or comfort would sure be appreciated Will it happen the way she told me can we believe her!!!
