The 1 year extension starts on the expiration date of you GC (the date is on the card). For example, my GC will expire on August 1st, so my NOA-1 is good until August 1, 2018. Well, maybe July 31st, 2018
Ok thanks a lot Lettyana!

Hey guys, got my NOA yesterday and just wondering if the one year extension starts yesterday or my green card anniversary date? Also, has anyone travelled internationally with the NOA document on hand without having any problems going back to the states?
Thanks guys and best of luck to us all!!!!

I think it helps that you sent your W-2's as well. I suppose it depends on how much other evidence you have in your pack. I'm sure you'll be fine. Even if you do get an RFE its just a matter of sending them in
Try not to worry. You've got me checking mine are tax transcripts now
Youre welcome!

I had a little browse through Visa Journey and seems from what others are saying they accept both. From what I can tell the account transcripts show most the information they want to see. BUT just incase of an RFE I would order the Tax Transcripts so you have them ready
Did you send W-2's or a copy of the returns?
I actually ordered both and intended of sending the "return transcripts" but I guess I got distracted. I sent our W-2s.
I've read older posts re this dilemma of mine and consensus is "return transcripts", although, people have been approved without RFEs while "account Transcripts" was sent, so...that gives me a little hope. Thanks for your valuable input!!! Really appreciate it!

Anyone pls help....I intended to mail my I-751 tax return evidence using the Tax Return Transcripts from IRS but instead I've sent "Account Transcripts". I just realized I've made that boo-boo while putting away the leftover stuff from I-751 filing today. Will this cause me an RFE??? 🙁. I can't believe I made that mistake.
Pls anyone re this matter?

Mailed packet 6/17.
Check cashed 6/20.
What's next, NOA?
...then Biometrics, right?
What is the approximate time frame for this process from submission to decision be it positive or not so positive? Anyone?
...and am I the only one getting nervous?

I mailed mine on Tuesday, June 13th to VSC. It was delivered at noon on Thursday, June 15th.
You can check the spreadsheet to see all the dates for the June filers. Note, there are 2 tabs: one for CSC and one for VSC.
That's good to know it's official! I just sent mine Saturday. Tracking reflected delivered Monday afternoon. Anxiety level steadily going up

@Jilliane if you dont have different or not resided to different address no need to fill out that part just leave it blank.
Hi. We moved after the AOS. Do I still have to write the present address on part 11 including our previous address?
Also, who should we write down on Part 7 and Part 8?
Part 7 is asking for petitioner while Part 8 is spouse.
Thanks!

For ROC, we did not send bank statements at all.
However, we included a bank verification letter signed by the bank manager that we had a joint savings account.
I also included the business card of the bank manager who composed the memo in case they had to verify the information.
Hello. That was a bold move! Did it work? Did USCIS ask for anymore bank statements after that?

Approved and they never asked for any more evidence, same with citizenship, I photocopied just the front fold of our most recent bank statement that showed both of our names and our home address, no rfe's
Congrats! Thanks for responding to my question.
Wouldn't be better if I sent the front pages of our joint acct statements from when we opened it some 3 years back, before the AOS? From what I understand is that they'll be looking for the activities covering the entire span of the marriage.
Did you guys use a binder with 3 holes to place your whole packet?
Lastly, any other evidences you might have given that made a strong impact on your petition (I-751) being approved?
Sorry for all these questions, I'm just so stressed right now thinking about it. Again, congrats!

We only included the front pages of our joint Bank statements, although the front page on ours shows the total amount deposited, withdrawed and the final total balance for the month anyway. We didn't see the need for them to see exactly where and what our money is spent on, they can always put two and two together from when we dipped below our average amount after bills and the copy of our joint car title from when bought our car and from our vacations. We submitted 8 front pages from our statements that were about 3 months apart spanning over the time since our interview for AOS.
Hi. Were you guys approved? Did they ask for the rest of the bank statement (activity) since you just sent the front page?

Were you guys approved even though you just sent the first page and not the whole statements? Did they ask for the whole bank statement?
