The government taxes were just wrong, so we filled the form on the income with the number we had at the time, which was $12,000. They sent us the RFE but now we have her taxes fixed. Now is at $27,000. We don't know if we can send a new I864 and a joint sponsor together. We thought about sending a joint sponsor in case they don't accept our new fixed form. Would that be wrong to do? Would they automatically exclude the joint sponsor in case all evidence and new form is good? 

My wife and I sent the form of Affidavit of Support (I864) for Adjusment of Status in a K1 visa, and after some weeks we got the RFE saying the she didnt reach the 125% poverty guideline. When we sent our form she claimed to have received only $ 12,000. We didn't remember about getting a joint sponsor, so that's why is so obvious we got the RFE. It was an extremely unfortunate mistake. So she was able to fix her income and now she's at $27,000 but we are afraid of getting denied. We have all the tax evidences of change. We are wondering if we can send back again a new I864 with the income fixed, or if it would be just better to get a joint sponsor (maybe send both? would that be wrong?).

We aren't sure if the new corrected income with a new form will be enough for them to approve us, so we were wondering if it would make them too confused if we try to resend the form plus a joint sponsor.
