  1. why didnt you get married within the 90 days?

i dont know. I thought it would be fine because i have a sister in texas right now and they also got married after almost 2 months that thier 90 days expired. But the reason why is because she lost her visa a few weeks after she arrived US and they filed an affidavit of lost and reported it to the USCIS. Am so stupid that i just think about it right now. I dont know what to do. Am so upset right now. I dont want to go back and start all over again, it sucks.

  2. Technically she is now in a visa overstay and could be subject to deportation. Although she should be able to get married under state law, I'm not sure how that would affect immigration status being that its passed 90 days. Bans for overstays dont kick in until 180 days. So its possible that she could get married and it will all be fine. But I really would suggest getting legal help in this situation before you do anything.

If not married in the 90 days she is required to leave the US. If she doesn't leave she will be subject to deportation and possible fines plus possible bans on returning.

There are no extensions on the 90 days!

The OP or her fiancee would have to had been in a coma to not know the requirements!

Or she is just playing games with us.

am not playing with you guys. Am telling the truth and now am worried.

    Mo

    yes i do have a fiance... ;)

A good place to start, of course, would be the Guide section:

    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k1guide

It walks you through the forms you need as well as showing examples.

    In general, you need:

    I-129F Form

    G-325A Form (Beneficiary)

    G-325a Form (Petitioner)

    Passport Photo (Beneficiary)

    Passport Photo (Petitioner)

    Proof of Citizenship (Petitioner)

Proof of meeting in the past two years

Proof of intent to marry (letters of intent, ring receipts, divorce certs if you've been married before)

I'm probably forgetting some things, so please check the guide.

    Good luck and welcome!

    thank you so much....
