Hello guys,

i am filling IR1/CR1 visa for my husband and currently need to file in my 2017 taxes so i can forward them to NVC,

i was wondering what is the fastest way to file my taxes as married filling separately as my husband is living overseas and does not have SSN or TIN.

i was told that i can no longer fill in " NRA " in place of SSN or TIN on the taxes forums, can someone confirm this please?

i got the case number and invoice number over the phone...the email came much later after i had paid AOS fees.

Hello guys! I have a quick question...we already paid the AOS fee (2nd of May) and it's showing paid on the website (on 4th May)  but for IV fee the " Pay Now " button is available but when I click it there is no IV bill to select to pay (just the old 120$ AOS bill)...I am not sure if IV should be available as soon as AOS fee shows paid and I should call NVC to check or is it normal to have a delay until IV fee becomes available?....Thanks in advance!  

Hello Guys! I just submitted the DS-261 form but there is still no " Pay now " button to pay the fees, I just wanted to confirm how long till the payment option becomes available after submitting the DS-261 " choose of agent " form?...Thanks in advance!

Ours was received March 17th, so hopefully yours should be coming in soon...Goodluck!

Wait till tomorrow afternoon and try again. Usually takes like 24 hrs after they created case number for you. I got the same message when I first received my case number.

Hello guys! We finally received our NVC case number today, it was issued on the 27th of April (42 days exactly) according to the case number. But when I tried to access the case to choose an agent using the new case number it says “ case is not eligible for further processing “ is this normal or should we call nvc again?...thanks in advance!
