  1. Well, NVC receive our case on feb 15th and told me it would be 2 weeks before we got our case number/welcome letter. I called back 2 weeks later and the told me “up to 8 weeks.” I called ever day and after 8 weeks they said it was sent to a supervisor and could take an additional 6 weeks. I called today and they said the same thing as they always do, “case number has not been created and your file is with a supervisor.” Well, as I was talking to my, extreamly sad, wife one the phone tonight telling her the same news I get everyday i got an email. After almost 10weeks, we got our welcome letter and case number!!

Be pacient and everything will happen. If you’re still waiting, it’s coming soon. They are just very backed up right now.

  2. I’m having the same problem.

Mine was sent from Texas, can you elaborate what that has to do with processing times?

Side note. Everyone one I’ve spoke too at the NVC over the past few weeks has been super nice and helpful until today. I actually called twice today just so I can talk to a different person and both of them were very cold and not sympathetic in the least. One of them even hanging up on me before I was done asking a question. Has anyone els has this same experience?

I was starting to loose my mind seeing all the approvals around and after our PD and coming home everyday from work to an empty mail box. Reading this forum also really help me keep hope and a level head. Thank you all. And for all who are still waiting, hang in there!

I just really want to make sure we are putting everything in the right order. I've looked at countless TOCs to try and get a clear picture but there's one thing I never see in them, the I-130a form. Where should we stick that in our packet.

Everything we are are putting in is

    I-130

    i-130a

    copies of our birth cirtificates

Passport photos of each of us

    g-325a

    g-1145

    Copy Beneficiaries devorce papers

Copy of all benificiaries passport pages

    Copy ofmarriage certificate

2 affidavits from each side (4total)

    boarding passes

    text messages

    Phone call logs

    Emails

photos (with family and on trips)

is there anything we are missi missy or should look out for? Can anyone point me in the right direction of putting these in order?

Thank you! So happy this site exists. It's help us so much thus far
