Question?? I am asking for a friend. Her husband mexican citizen living in the usa. They are working with a lawyer that is getting info of him from FOIA and FBI came back clean. Getting report from CBP saying very little info saying inadmissable and drug traffiker and it also said that he had signed a affidavit. So the lawyer is asking for a copy of the affidavit because wasn't in the report she got back from CBP. Back ground when he was 14 years old he got caught by border patrol and he was transporting marijuana in a back pack. Husband said that they were asking him where he got the drugs who was he selling for and he said he didn't say anything. Finally he said that someone asked him to walk it over. He said that he was given a paper and they released him to cps but in Mexico. (I forget what he called it). So the question is he was caught transporting marijuana when he was 14 does that mean he is inadmissable no matter what. He can never submit a waiver for it?

If she was charged with any felonies you will need a certified copy from the court giving the final disposition of the charge. If she wasn't charged with anything than you don't have to worry about it. My husband had traffic tickets and they didn't ask for anything regarding that. But he did have a burglary charge and I had to get a certified copy from the superior court stating the final disposition on that charge. Even if she got arrested and there were no charges filed you don't have to get anything for that.

We are in a similar situation. My husband had his interview on March 26 and he was given a white paper not requesting any documentation. The consular officer did mention to him that he needed waivers and told us that we were doing the process backwards. We should have the waivers when he went to the interview but my husband lives in mexico and the lawyer told us that he needs to get denied and they would tell us what waivers he needed to file. But on the letter doesn't say anything. I've been calling the number on the white paper and she said as of now they are not asking for any waivers. Back ground on that he got deported in 2002 and hasn't came back to US since then.

It took us 7 months we were done with nvc on June 6 2018 n we got an email January 30 for interview on March 26

At my husbands interview he was given a white paper 221G. The officer said that he had to apply for waivers but it doesn't say which ones on the paper. I had read that they give you instructions of what to do next. But it's says really nothing just to wait for their decision and they will send it to DHL.

Yeah I know but they also know that he lives in Mexico and told him that he should've filed the waivers first. That is why it was confusing to me cause I researched read everywhere and I know the 2 different processes but that is not what they told him told him the opposite. So after the interview he got a white paper saying this:
You have been found ineligible to receive a via section 221g of the immigration and nationality law because your application is incomplete. To continue with your case you must follow the following instructions.
Your case is under administrative process when the process has concluded the consulate will send you a notification by registered by DHL

So my husband had his interview today in Juarez and he was given a white paper saying he was ineligible to receive a visa under section 221g. So my husband was told that he has to file waivers. The Immigration officer told my husband that we did the process backwards that we should've filed the waivers first. He told him you came over here for me to tell you that you are denied because you need to file waivers. The lawyer I had told us that we had to go through this process and get denied and than we can file the waivers. I'm so confused and mad. Now we wait for the letter to come to DHL to let us know what waivers he has to file for. But at the same time we were expecting him to get denied because the lawyer had told us that. But to hear the immigration officer tell us we did it backwards makes us mad. I've also read it on here that we have to get denied at the interview before we file the waivers. My husband had to see the psycologist because of his tattoos and she asked to see his criminal record and told him the same thing that he should've filed the waivers first and she said that she doesn't see him having to file any waivers after seeing his criminal record.

My husband had his medical today and he had to see a psychologist because of his tattoos. The psychologist told him that he should've filed the waivers first than go through this process. But I researched about it and it says you file the I-130 go through the process and when you get denied than you file for the waivers. I just would like your knowledge because if that is the case it took us 2 years to get to this point.

How did others that went to their interview organize their paper work. Can I put it in a binder?

I finally got the email yesterday that I have been waiting for feels like forever. My husband got his Juarez interview for March 26, 2019. We have been waiting since June 6, 2018.
-
No I've called NVC once a week the last 2 weeks and it's just a waiting game. They get interviews from Juarez and assign them and wait for more available interviews. Other than that not much information they could give me.

I'm currently in the process for my husband we have been waiting since June 6 2018 for an interview in Juarez. Once we go to Juarez for interview my husband will be denied and than we file the 601A and the 212 waivers and by the looks of that it looks like we will be waiting for about 18 months to get a decision for the waivers. Than you go back to Juarez for another interview. We are working with a lawyer for all this process.

We've been waiting since June 3, 2018 for interview in Juarez. I will call the end of this month if I don't hear anything.
-
I will this month my lawyer told me it would take about 3-4 months and the interview will be scheduled a month later. So when I do get a interview letter this month my interview will most likely be in November or December.

I have been in queue for interview since June 2018

Long story short waiting for interview in Juarez but we already know that it will be denied because he was deported in 2002 and will need to apply for a I601 and I212. So for the criminal record I'm confused about since I'm gathering them up for my lawyer because they will charge me per hour to go to the courts and get them. He has case numbers and police reports that never made it to court. I got 2 police reports from our Sheriffs department but that was it there is no outcome on the report they told me I had to go to our Superior Court cause that is where the final outcome would be but Superior court has nothing on the cases neither does the justice court or city court. So I don't know what else to do. I was hoping someone can give me some advice if they have experience this before.

I assumed he was 9C, 10 years before he could file a waiver.
What does 9c mean?

I'm still waiting for an interview in Juarez but I already know that my husband will be denied because he needs to file 2 waivers I601 and 212. My question is if he was banned for 10 years and he has been out of the country for almost 18 years does it still take this 14-18 months to get a waiver approval or denial?
-
Just want to know if Administrative Deportation is any different than just getting deported? I'm not familiar with all the different ways of getting deported because I know there are different ones.

Does anyone know if this is being used

My husband lives in Mexicali, Baja California and I need a form from my Wells Fargo retirement signed and notarized by him. There was a guy that lived in California that would go to Mexico and he would notarized documents which we have used him once but he no longer does it. I just wanted to know if someone knows or recommends someone that does that?
