    Hi!

I would like to ask how long the processing time of N400 after i've done the biometric since sept. 2 2016? I was filed on august 2016

but until now  i did'nt received any notice after biometric.

    Hi

I filed in Aug2016 as well and no real developments occurred yet

    so disappointing...

Last week I submitted a request for help at the ombudsman office and yesterday with my senator. Next week I have a second infopass.

    I don't know...

who asked you not to go for the FP? I took an infopass and also called an L2 officer who both suggested that I should not miss the appointment.  The L2 officer said that their target is to schedule an interview date within 90 days of the biometrics and to call back if I dont get anything in 90 days. Damn thing will drag on for a year. I don't know who to believe anymore. BTW my online account doesn't reflect the new biometrics action.

An L2 officer did. I also got a letter stating my FP are valid and in the system, and the officer in the ifopass confirmed that.

I sent a request to the ombudsman and requested a new infopass

Repeat Biometrics: Had my biometrics done again today at Newark  after getting them done in Sep last year. Feel like I am at the back of the line again. Anyone else get a repeat biometrics?

I had multiple notices for additional FP. I was told not to attend since they were already in the system and were valid.

The other say i git this message "

We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time. We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on December 17, 2016."

That was the date of the last FP notice.

I dont know... This system sucks!

PD: Aug 12 2016 . Dang, the long frustrating wait continues. I have had no updates since my biometrics on Sep 6th. All of a sudden I get a new biometrics notice for May 18th. Scheduled an Infopass today, the lady had no idea why I got the new notice, she just suggested I just attend the appointment. What a crazy system. 8 months and they now want biometrics again. nice.

I had the same experience, and they sent me a letter stating my FP were valid and in the system. It didn't change anything though. To me they suggested not to go to future appointments but I wonder if that would have made things faster...

Read the following and good luck!

Ok... this is really important. Some of you might know it but here it is:
The other day I went to the Boston FO., and that was the best thing I ever did.

They are punctual and the very nice woman helped me to understand how all this mess works and helped my with my specific case as well.

    She said:
    1. IOE cases are problematic because the system wasn't actually ready for the amount of petitions it got. So... IOE holders, be aware!
    2. Calling the national service number is a bad idea for three reasons: (a) they have outdated info, (b) every time you call they have to pull your file and then they put it back to the end of the pile (I don't understand how it happens with digital files, but whatever...), and (c) they cannot actually do anything about your case (even if you get through the obnoxious tier 1 to tier 2)
    3. my particular case was already in queue for interview but somehow stuck. She was able to talk to her supervisor and file a request to pull it to the Boston FO . She estimates 2-3 weeks till it gets there.

    In conclusion,
    SCHEDULE AND INFOPASS!!!
If you dont find a spot, I was told they have 12 spots available for people who come very early in the morning - I think she said 6:30am.

    Hi Sepiu,

Thank you so much for sharing this. May you please tell me about your filling timeline?

    of course

    filed: Aug 8, 2016

    FP: Aug 29, 2016

Then I kept getting additional notices for FP. On Dec 2016 they acknowledged my FP are in the system.

From then nothing changed and I was getting frustrated.

Don't call the national number, JUST SCHEDULE AN INFOPASS!  That's my best advice

    Hi Houston Filers,

I am new here. Wanted to share my experience with yall so we can be updated with what's going on with the unusual delay this year.

    My office/ Houston

    Sent N400: 08/01/16

    Biometric done: 08/29/16

My case still shows just my biometric update and no single move since then.

I called uscis first time February 1st they said you still in normal processing time, then in March same thing. In April same thing.

Last call was this morning may 4th 2017

And I requested to talk to L2 officer hoping to have a different answer and he told me that

My file is in the NBC national benefits center and I have to wait my turn. I told him I am planning my trip in July overseas this year and he said you go enjoy your trip we still working on May cases. It doesn't seem to be there yet. It means my case will pass the line of 1year just to know when the interview is.

Plz share your experience and let us be updated.
