Just called the NVC and interview date is scheduled for Aug.29!!!!!

APPROVED!!! finally!!! after ONE YEAR!!! they didnt ask for our relationship photos or flight tickets anything!!! the interview took only two minutes I went with my wife. The guy only ask me how do we met, where was our first date, where do we live (she lives in the US I live in Peru), when was the last time I saw her in the US and thats all!
 
I think they already know EVERYTHING ABOUT EVERYONE haha...

Here is our review. I might have missed a few things in the beginning since I was not present at the interview but I tried to add as much detail.  Thank you VJ family for your tremendous amount of support in the past few months. I plan on sticking around for as long as possible to help anyone who needs it based off my experience.
My husbands interview was scheduled for July 14th 8:30 am. He arrived there around 7:15.
Around 7:45 he was asked to get in the queue. The guards requested to see his passport and appointment letter. He explained to them that since our case was expedited we did not get an appointment letter and he only has an appointment confirmation that was emailed to him after we scheduled his interview online. They were okay with that and let him in without any issues. The immigrant visa applicants were separated from the non-immigrant visa applicants at this point. After his documents were checked and put in order by the staff he was asked to follow the red line and eventually was asked to be seated until his token number is called. He waited for about 35 minutes before his token number was called. An African American CO  greeted him in Punjabi and asked him the following questions:
Who is calling you?
How did you meet?
Love marriage or arrange marriage?
Who arranged it?
How did your families know each other before?
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
When was the last time you and your wife were together?
What does she doe for a living?
After that CO did some typing and said congratulations your Visa has been approved!
The CO was very warm and friendly and even joked around when my husband told him that he is an orthodontist.
Over all it was a great experience. He was not asked for any call logs, WhatsApp messages or pictures. Surprisingly they did not even ask for the w2 and AOS , even though we received a checklist for that!
 
 

Finally got interview date for august 8!!!!! At 8am

Hello everyone! Had my interview today at Montreal and we are approved! Thank you to everyone here that got us through it. The support was so encouraging and I can't thank you all enough. I will do a full review in a few days 

Just called nvc and got my interview ate. Apparently they just assigned it today so haven't gotten an email yet.
 
yayyyyy August 16.  Now the hubby needs to scramble to get his booster shots and get his medical!  I was hoping to join him for the interview but already had a fight booked for next week :/ Companies should allocate special time off for visa immigration as a life event.

yes the problem is on appointment day they need p4 letter. and doctor is going on vacation on july 26th. so they have only 2 days for appointment left 17th and 18th. And I am worried whether I will get p4 letter this week or not. 
 
The other way I have is I take print out of Montreal consulate email that has my interview date and also print out of online account that has date and my case number where I registered for courier services. I think this 2 will be enough. I will check with clinic tomorrow and will book it.
 
They told they require 7 business days to give me result file back which I have to carry to Interview. So cannot book too close to Interview. And she told you have to do before doctor goes on vacation so no choice but to book for next week.

Cadtousa, you don't need your p4 letter to make your medical appointment. They may ask you to bring it to your appointment but don't need it to make your appointment.   
 
And just a call out to everyone, your visa expires 6 months after you completed your medical visit. 

Today I did my blood test for syphilis and chest X-ray n tomorrow the results,vaccinations and physical exams.
the vaccination is MMR,influenza and dultravax,is that what everybody takes for immigration?

Good to know. Looks like they're releasing Canada interview dates! Congrats! 
 
Regarding the medical, contact them and ask them if possible to do your medical appointment day before your interview (Friday in your case), meanwhile, ask them to send over a list of the required vaccinations.  In France, this is what they often do. So we got the list of vaccinations, took it to our general dr, took a blood test, got the blood results, asking our general dr to provide the missing vaccines. Then will bring the updated vaccines medical records to the medical. Where they'll do another blood test to verify that all vaccines are up to date.  
 
Urgently, advise you to schedule your Medical to make sure they have an opening for you.   
 
This I imagine you can find doing a google search. But normally if flying within your own country, you don't need a passport, just some form of picture ID such as a Driver's license. 

Hello everyone an congratulations to you all along the process thus far!
 
I am from the Electronic Processing CEAC forum, which is a slightly different process, and only a few of us, however still the same questions as most of you! I have a few questions that I hope a few of you in here can help me answer, as I have just received our interview date AUGUST 14!
 
Some Questions:
1) If we are scheduled for an interview Monday morning, should we fly into Montreal a week earlier for time for medical/days it takes to receive medical before the weekend? (Not sure if they operate on the weekend)
2) If approved,  , Embassy takes passport..... So how does a Canadian fly back-and-forth without the passport? I was uncertain if Canadians can fly WITHIN Canada without passport? Someone who has experienced this please let me know.
