hi everyone. my husband is currently in his home country of Honduras. His 601 and 212 was just approved this weekend. Will he have to go to a second interview or can he just go get his medical exam, police reports, etc and bring his passport to the embassy to go home? We submitted our waivers March 14,2018 and approved March 9,2019.

That is what I thought as well but I do know for a fact that when I traveled to Honduras last year with his Aunt the officer asked for the waivers because he was going to take them at that moment so I'm not sure if that has changed since since Feb 2016 or what but my Lawyer seems to have her hopes held high that he will return with me

My husband was given voluntary deportation in 2007. He never upheld his agreement and didn't return back to his home country. My question is according to our Lawyer now that our I130 is approved we can now request for an appointment in his home country since we cannot adjust status from within the USA and she seems to believe that I could turn in my waivers at his interview and possibly they will adjuncticate the waivers for us.......has anyone else ran into a similar situation?
