  1. Our CR1 interview in London was on Wed my hubby came from US to be with me.

Everything went ok, they asked my hubby afew questions abt his job and support.

I was soooooo nervous. they n ver asked us for any evidence of our relationship - we had taken a huge folder but i guess because he was there with me that was enough.

i got my passport and documents yesterday I am flying out in 2 weeks. I am soooooo happy.

such a relief its all over. i wish everyone who is going through the process all the best.

  2. Hey everyone, I am really pleased for those who got an interview in London hope ur intervews go great and u are reunited with ur loved ones very soon.

Case was completed on the 4th August people here have HAD THERE case completed after ours and been scheduled an interview date already whilst we are still in LIMBO. called the DOS they said everything looks good but we have not been scheduled a date yet.

  4. Hi I just wanted to tell you not to stress out (EASY to say i know), I was doing exactly the same when our CR1 case completed at the NVC on the 4th of August. I was totally panicking and afraid it got lost!! I called the US embassy in London almost everyday to ask if they had received it - you can imagine how much that cost!! But they eventually received it on the 24th of August. I could not belive it wod take that long.

So dont worry its quite normal for it to take a couple of weeks until they have your case in the systems. I am right with you.

I booked my medical as well , Just wanted to ask you when I called to book it the lady said I will need to bring the forms I received from the embassy (packet 4) but I have not received packet 4 yet. Ihave scheduled the medical for end of September - so does that mean if I dont receive the packet 4 by then I need to reschedule it? I will have to reschedule it 3 days before the date otherwise they do charge an 80 pound fee!! :o

Just wondering how come ur husband went to his medical did you receive your packet 4 by then? or did you use it from you K3? Thank you so much for your help!! ps Im really happy for you that your hubbys medical went well!!! Your almost there now :)

  5. :help: Hi All, I am new to this board but have been reading through all the posts and I have found it extremely comforting and helpful. We got married in Nov 2005 filed for I-130 in dec 05 our case is currently at the Embassy in London, we are waiting for packet 4 with an interview date.

I am totally fed up emotionally drained and just really down in the dumps right now. Our case was completed at the NVC on the 4th August 2006, it took 3.5 weeks after we had sent in the DS 230. NVC said they sent our case to embassy on the 8th Aug, the US embassy in London received it on the 24th August. This waiting is driving me to despair. Worst thing is our 1st wedding anniversary is coming up in beginning of November (L) but I dont think I will be over by then since the embassy said it takes 6-12 weeks for a date from the 24th august. That would just devastate me if I cant even be with myhubby on that day, have not seen him for 5 months. I can't go over to the US either the embassy dont recommend it.

Please can anyone tell me what kind of interview dates the embassy in london are giving out once they receive the file for CR1?
