Happy Belated to you as well. we estimated the whole process to be 3-4 month lol silly us. I have filled up my timeline. NVC received the documents and gave us a scandate 05/18/2017. So waiting starts again .... I wish I get a CC in 4-5 Weeks and wishes do come true.

Looks good.  Just make sure you have the correct marriage/police certificates required for India.  Also, seems like you're the sole sponsor.  You probably should have filled out I-864EZ which was a lot simpler lol 

In addition, please make sure you update your VJ timeline so as to help the rest of the VJ community with similar timelines

I am the beneficiary from London. I got married in Florida so I have a US marriage certificate. My Indian police certificate was issued by Indian high commission in London. 

Yes my Mrs is the sole sponsor. I hope I-864 is ok as well ??

I will surely update my VJ Timeline

Petitioner Documents - Job Letter, 2016 1040 and w2, I-864

Absolutely! It may be fine, but you covered your bases by getting one ordered. Hang on to it because you will probably need it down the road for your AOS or citizenship application. I know a UK person who had to order one following his citizenship interview over something that happened when he was 12, letting air out of the neighbors tyres or something silly. It all depends on the interviewer which we can't predict.

 

 

A fiancé visa is different. Nothing is done at NVC. K1s pick their own date when they are ready.

Hi visaDJ .... as long as it says no live trace on your police certificate you will be ok ... they will ask you what happened though and they have options to call ACRO and ask them on the phone as well if needed. So you will be ok. If you don't mind me asking How many days did it take for you to get the interview date from the day nvc closed your case ???

Yes, you do require PCC from India as well. You might want to contact Indian passport office to figure out how to obtain one. If you were Indian citizen, you just apply for PCC on passport service website and schedule a meeting. I'm not sure about how you can get one.
