  1. Ah. So as in "slow", have there been people reporting 30+ days from people on here? Or do we know the reason why it's seeming slow? I had been under the impression from what I had read from various posts in the past that pretty much all of them had a NOA1 within a couple weeks. My fiance is the one feeling impatient and thinking we should've heard something in less than a week, based on the stories of her friends, so she's become rather disgruntled with this waiting.

  2. I'm new here and hope this is the proper place to post this. I'm sure this has been asked many times, and I've found results - however, they were from topics and other websites dated years ago, so I thought I'd post this for and hope for recent/updated responses.

I mailed my I-129F by USPS to the P.O. Box 660151 Dallas, TX 75266 address, and tracking indicates it arrived April 14 at 2:50 AM. Based on my previous searches, many people often have their package delivered, and had their NOA1 usually less than a week later. For me now, tomorrow will make two weeks, and the check hasn't even been cashed yet. I called USCIS about it because I wanted to make sure it at least arrived into their facility safe and sound, and he explained I'd have better luck emailing the lockbox at their email address (so I just did), but he also said it could take 30-60 days for that, which seems like a crazy wait compared to what others had posted  2 or 3 years ago. So are there other recent petitioners here within the past month or two also experiencing this "long" wait and everybody is having 2+ weeks? Or does anyone know if maybe the lockbox facility is for some reason really backed up and I really do have a 30-60 day wait?
