After my wife and daughter were in the States I waited 3 years and had my wife get citizenship which automatically made my daughter a citizen. If you have anymore question please ask, now that I am back on hear to bring my wifes mother I will be able to answer questions again.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you but I hope this still helps,
When I married my wife there was no father on the birth certificate so I was able to place my name on the original certificate.
