  1. We have an interview scheduled for my husband's AOS. They are requiring that I bring my birth certificate (I am the petitioner). The issue is that I lost my birth certificate and naturalization certificate when I moved from one state to another. I did file with my birth country's Embassy to receive a copy but it could take up to 6 months to get that copy (I was born in another country but I am a citizen of the United States). And the naturalization certificate copy is insanely expensive but I did send out for a copy of that as well.  Does anyone know if they will delay my husbands Green Card process or cancel it all together?

I do have a passport, which is what I used to do our K-1 Fiancé visa and they haven't required a birth certificate until now. If anyone can shed some light on what we need to be prepared for I would greatly appreciate it. I am able to get the copies, its just an issue with timing because when we started this whole process they didn't require any of it until they scheduled his interview.

    thanks so much.

  2. Part 3, 22a and 26a. Does anyone know if these questions are in regards to an affidavit that i have filled out in the past? This is my second fiance visa and i don't know if they're asking for a former name.

Part 3 question 22a: I have previously submitted affidavit(s) of support for the following person(s). (If none, write "None" in the space for name below.)

Part 3 question 26a: I have submitted a visa petition(s) to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services on behalf of the following persons. (If none, write "None" in the space for name below.)

If anyone can help me figure out exactly what they're asking i would greatly appreciate it!

    Thank you!
