Odd thing, the Notice Date on the NOA1 is really early. The put a date of 07/27/2007 and I didn't even send it until 07/28/2007.

Good News, my check was cashed on Aug 17th. Deposited for collection on Aug 15th and cleared the bank on Aug 17th.

And the exciting news is that the application has been sent to CSC.

Hopefully it gets processed soon.

bump... wondering if you folks have had your checks cashed yet. Nothing here.

Yep...we are waiting too. I give it another 2 weeks yet before we seen our check cashed.

They have not cashed our checks yet.

So it seems like our three applications are together. I don't have a clue how long it will take to cash our checks. It looks like a couple of things could happen based on what I have read.

1. Our applications get forwarded to another service center for faster processing.
   
2. Our applications sit at NSC for a long time.
   

If our apps get sent to another service center, maybe we will see the checks cashed sometime soon. Otherwise, if we stay at NSC...it could take the better part of a month to cash the check. But I'm guessing.

I sent my package the day you did, with signature confirmation. On Saturday we got our signature confirmation in the mail. So, I'm sure it has been received and it is now sitting somewhere on top of a large pile right next to our.

My wife and I are planning to visit her home this summer in Colombia.

This is our first trip home since she got here on a K3. How do we want the name on her ticket to appear? To match her Colombia passport or Colombia id card (cedula)? Or to use her married name as it appears on her resident card? She took my last name when we did all the USCIS paperwork.

I think she is require to enter and leave Colombia on her Colombian passport...so I was wondering what kind of hell they might raise if her tickets have her married name on them.

What do you think?
