Is it ok to apply for hardship waiver by self if I can collect all the required documents?

did anyone did I-612 hardship waiver by self any idea what documents I need I did one time with my attorney it denied I wanna do it by my own just worried is any one did it before? Please need a little help

Thanks Lizb0322, can you please tell me one thing, I just send a advisory letter to state department the address they show on the website, is there anything online I can check or just wait like 4-6 week? Because I mailed out last Monday my advisory opinion letter 

Can any one please give me the advisory opinion request, processing time?

Can you please tell me which address you use to send your advisory opinion letter and, I also send my advisory opinion package in mail but where I can get the tracking number, I have one number but that was from my hardship waiver application it will work? Thanks 

Hi, yes I have the funding from US government but not from my own country can I still apply for no objection letter?

and one thing more my DS 2019 form has nothing marked so can I apply for advisory opinion request? Thanks for your help 

No I didn’t try the no objection waiver, but I’m not sure that I can apply for no objection because I came on j1 visa on my own funding then later I got some stipends from my department supervisor. So I don’t know can I apply for no objection in this case because I have no fellowship or scholarship from my country?

How you write the advisory letter, I mean just a simple letter or your lawyer did that. Pley

I have two year home residency on visa stamp but my DS 2019 has nothing marked, I applied for hardship waiver but denied last month, now I don’t know what to do, I’m thinking to do the advisory opinion because I came in 2009, and even my country is not in the 2009 skill list I’m just kinda confused.

I contacted my congressman too he submitted a request and uscis California sent me a letter that we will make a decision within 45 days but still both it's been more than 50 days passed it's a I-612 hardship waiver submitted on February 2017, it's been more than a year

I submitted my I-612 in February 2017 to uscis California center and its been 13 long month and still nothing it's a hardship waiver I think California center is kinda slow.....
