  1. My husband is L1a and my children and I are L2. On September 10/18 all 4 of us are to go for an interview for our EB-1c in Montgomery AL.  Can someone help me out? I am expecting the interview to be similar to when we renewed his L1a. The officer spoke directly with him, not much was said to my children or myself. I am trying to understand the September Visa Bulletin. Is this category current?  I know some categories are retrogressed, I have read comments that state all categories are retrogressed. I do not see anything stating one thing or another?  My husband has consult with our lawyer this week to prep for our interview. I was just hoping to get some insight. I do believe in the past this category didn’t need interviews.

  2. Question, we are here on L1a-l2 visas, the company applied for our green card I-485.  The lawyer has said everything was approved (not much was explained to us). We received our notification from USCIS the case was filed, so I have been able to follow more closely.  We did our medical, did our biometrics, I got a notice stating that our case was sent to another office to expedite processing.  So it went from the Texas service center, to the Kansas field office.  Our case was predated what that field office was working on.  Today I got an update in the Uscis login, that our case was again transferred to a new jurisdiction.  So I am curious if it is the local field office (we live in Alabama). I was also under the impression L1a visa holders were not required to do interviews.  Could it be it was transferred to produce the actual card?

    Thanks.

  3. I have a question, we received our biometrics appointment today on 12/16/17, for 12/27/17.  We are required to go to the Birmingham AL site. We leave for vacation on 12/23/17, so we will not be hear. On the requisition there is a spot to check reschedule? I am worried with Christmas and holidays it won’t get to the office on time to not count us as abandoned from our scheduled appointment.  I have read about doing a walkin apt. My family could go on 12/21/17 or 12/22/17, the only thing is on the Birmingham USCIS site it says for appointments only. On USCIS general site it seems to indicate if you have the notice, you should be able to walk in before original appointment. Does anyone know what is the best solution?
