hello
when NVC recive your case from USCIS, they forward it to your selected US Embassy and you will get a letter from NVC cotaining your case number and the date that your case leaved NVC.
nce you have get your case number you can complete DS-160 online and submit it. remember you application number in the signed and confirmed DS-160.
after that you can track your case at Visa Status Check and Track it online.
now go to CSRA and register an account.select your Embassy, follow the instruction.
your case number tacking can be 3 status:
1- at NVC: this means your case is still in NVC and not sent yet.
2- In Transit: means your case in transit to the US Embassy
3-Ready: means your documents arrived in Embassy and ready for interview
You have to wait until your status become Ready, and after that Embassy will mail you the instruction.
before your status become ready you can pay your interview fee online, but remember to not schedule appointment date until the Embassy cantact you via E-mail.
I hope it helped and sorry for my bad english.

Hi
I live in Iran and at 4/10/2017 my us citizen fiance called NVC anr rep told her my case number and said your cas was sent to Abu Dhabi Embassy on 4/7/2017.
after that I checked my case number at Ceac status tracker and it says:
Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center.
So I have a question I didnt mention My E-mail addres in any forms the we sent for K1-Visa , So how Embassy can send me the packet-3 or Appointment Date?
since I have my case number, can I start the visa aplication at ais.usvisa-info.com or I have to wait for embass to inform me about the instructions?
I appreciate for any guid in my situation.

I had my interview on 15 May and officer told me everything is ok but your case needs administrative processing and just bring Translation of your military exemption when your case is ready. I emailed the embassy 3 days ago and asked them shall I bring the documents ASAP or I have to wait until my case status become to READY? and they replied after 7days:
thank you for your email, you can submit it when your case is ready.
as far as I know they only respond to online inquiries through this link . I hope everyone get their visas sooner.
