Hi, I am his wife. I saw that you got rid of his post but now I see it here. I guess we are so new to this website. Well, I certainly am. I have know about the website for years, but I don't get how you ask a certain question. Why can't he ask another question in his post? I don't get it. We are just so confused about this AOS stuff. I don't want to be mad, but I feel that if we don't get the answers we need then we would be delayed. I don't want to be delayed anymore because have been waiting for him to come to the U.S. for over 2 years and I don't want to be delayed just for one little thing. I hope he can pass his interview next month. If you can reply soon enough, then please and thank you. I hope you have a great day! :)

  2. The NVC reviewed our documents at they sent us a checklist of the missing documents which was financial evidence but that is supposed to be sent to the interview. The other piece of evidence we forgot to send was the original marriage certificate. I called the NVC just now and they said that they received the email from us, but they always say it will take 11 weeks. So my question is: did they review our documents already by sending us that checklist for missing evidence? I don't think it will take 11 weeks to review one more document. So I hope we have a case complete next week.

  3. Will it be faster if I call after our lawyer submitted our missing document? It looks they already reviewed our case but we were only missing our original marriage certificate. So how long would it take for them to receive our document by email? Last time we sent our documents it took them two days to receive our documents. But will it be less longer if it is just one document in the email?

  4. My husband and I have been waiting for a year and 10 months for an approval to our I-130 and I-129f applications. We filed back in June of 2015 for the I-130 and for the I-129f we filed that in July of 2015. We thought we would have an approval after six months, but our field office was not processing any cases with our dates for the cases we filed. So we waited until they would file cases with our dates, but they went past our dates. I was curious so I submitted an inquiry for both cases and they said our cases were on an a processing hold. We didn't know how long that would take so I contacted my senator and in May of 2016, the senator's assistant said we weren't on a processing hold anymore and should expect a decision in 15 days. We didn't have a decision within 15 days, so I called again but we still had to wait. I kept making inquiries on our cases and one inquiry's response was a letter in the mail to have an interview at the USCIS in Bloomington. After that interview, the officer wasn't convinced so she asked us to submit RFE. I had help with a lawyer which I tried to use in the past but he said he couldn't help us expedite our case. He helped me gather some evidence, but I could have sent my evidence sooner if I didn't ask for his help. Well, I sent the RFE in November of 2016 after trying to do it earlier in that month but forgot to put the full address of the USCIS's and mine. I thought I would get an approval after 60 months, but no. So my husband and I set up an Infopass interview last month but the office was closed so we had to reschedule. Once we found a good date, then we rescheduled that interview and I went to the interview and the officer told me after I gave him some more evidence that we should expect something in less than 30 days. I, also, had an inquiry for my I-129f pending that finally got responded after almost 2 months and I called the USCIS to see what the response was and they said I should wait 60 days, but they have always said that and nothing happens. I, also, made an inquiry on my I-130 on March 28th, 2017 and it says that our case is currently not assinged

for processing, so I called the USCIS and they said I should expect a response in 30 days. I hate them telling us to wait 30 or 60 days. I emailed the NSC and another agency yesterday, but I don't know if they will email me

back. I, also, contacted my senator so hopefully they will respond because someone said they got an approval after contacted their congressman.
