  1. Greetings people!

     

    I am aware that embassies always reserve the final right to allow or refuse interviews at their location to non-residents. However, the term "resident" is a little nuanced, so I would just like to understand:

     

    1) Does living in the foreign country under a valid work visa qualify as being a resident? 

     

    2) I checked at the embassy portal for Bolivia on whether or not non-citizens at the foreign country can go for the K1 interview, but this information is not provided. What would be the best course of action for us to find out? Should I email the US embassy in Bolivia and ask, or will I be wasting my time because they probably won't respond?
