  1. Getting really nervous

Jul 29: Package sent to Pheoniz mailbox

Jul 30: Received and signed by someone in USCIS

    Aug 5: Cashiers Check cashed

no update yet on NOA :(

Getting worried because everyone seems to have gotten their NOA immediately :( My mailing address is different from my physical address and I did mention that in the form!

Is this normal or is this very delayed? Should I try to call and follow up?

  2. Hi there,

GC Expires : 10/26/2019 (package can be set starting Jul 26th 2019)

    Package sent 7/29/2019

    Package received: 7/30/2019

No update yet - didn't know I could get text/email notifications so didn't fill that G-XXX form

Question -> I sent after the first date my package can be sent, but my application had a signed date before Jul 26. Is that a reason for rejection even though my packet itself was sent well after the 90 day window? I am so anxious :(

  3. Finally finally it is with such a relief that I can say my card is here with me in my hands ! Came with approval for travel- advance parole. I am so so happy ! Time to go make that trip home in 2 months to see my mom and to send save the dates for our religious ceremony!  Thanks to this forum for every support along the way . It took 119 days and was very painful but would have been possible without each of us keeping each other updated ! Thanks a lot .

wait for the green card continues but I am happy for now 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Yes, the status changed on 04/11 as New Card being Produced for my EAD and I received the actual NOA on Friday, 04/14.  Any idea as how long it might for us to receive the actual cards?

So usually the approval notices seem to be coming 5 days after (we both seem to have it quicker) the card seems to change status to it is now mailed around 5-7 days from approval. Now longer since there is a backlog in the production team too ;) i would think 10 days ? and then once it gets mailed out - it reaches anywhere between 2-7 days!

@dcfilerdec22 So happy you got fast results . Was your card mailed to you already ??

To those who have received their Eads,  Were you able to track it via Uscis case status ??

My card was mailed on the 11th, nothing today.I received the approval notices this Monday I think ( was away).

Congrats again , it's great to see all of us reaching the end of this process together .

Nope! I don't expect it to be mailed before monday/tuesday

Care to share some USCIS gossip?;) I think we all want to know how USCIS works... because I'm clueless lol

just that there is a congressional unit in every office whose jobs is to attend to congreswoman/men's queries. papers get processed from a storage in uscis and each IO will scan a few files to themselves and they get judged on how many cases they process. sometimes your file might be with someone who checked it in and then went on vacation but forgot to chekc it out. so basically it;s sitting on their desk waiting to get approved. which is what i was worried about! and that's when it helps to get help. Also when you expedite it , it will get removed from the pile go through expedite and put back into the expedite processing. so when your congressman/woman investigates it helps to first just enquire on the case because if it is processng normally then why expedite it. now if there are bumps after they hear back , you can expedite it if you have a valid reason

Congrats. Happy for you. How did you approach you Congresswoman? did you write to her or meet in person?

So i am more traditional. i went to her office and met with the case worker . Explained my situation and told them that i needed their help. then i asked lots of questions about uscis because they know stuff. and then asked them how long it'll take to know. he told me a week or so to get a reply from uscis. then they sent me a release form, i signed it and sent copies of my reciepts. they then contacted uscis

@lleaka Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Today USCIS replied to my congresswoman saying my EAD and parole will be pulled out for expedited processing. Just now i got the update that my card is being produced. oh my. what a relief. now my parole is still the same as "case was received". Really hope i get a combo card :) the whole point was for the parole since we need to plan our wedding and i need to go see my mom who is sick !

Was yours a combo card? what did it say in your EAD
