  1. Hello,

    would you guys please give any advice if this letter is correct to send to immigration. Do I have to say that we were seperated due to that reason I didn't come? Any suggestions? I will appreciate your reply.

    thanks;

    I was not able to appear for my interview because, personally, I am going through a very difficult time in my life.  For this same reason, I will need to withdraw my application for naturalization.  I ask that you allow me to withdraw without prejudice.  I will file again at some later date.

    I appreciate your attention and your assistance in this matter.

    Sincerely,

  2. That was my mistake that I didn't formally withdraw my case. I listed to my lawyer and neglect to do that. so now after not showing to interview I got a mail from immigration states "You have 30 days to explain that why you did not appear. failure to this notice will result in your application being administratively closed without further action" Now my lawyer tells me to send them the letter and formally withdraw the case and let the immigration officer know.

    What would you guys advise? Thank you and appreciate your response.

  3. Hi,

    I did not show up in interview. My case has update and it is stated that "On April 13, 2017, we requested that certain people associated with your Form N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION, Receipt Number NBC*00000000, come to an appointment. No one came to the appointment, and this will significantly affect your case. We will mail you a notice if we make a decision or take further action. I am kind of scared that what will be the significant affect in my case?

  4. Hello,

    I came in marriage case. Two months after I filed for my citizenship interview, my wife left the house. We have separated since four months. I have my citizenship interview within next 20 days. Since I don't live with her I am not eligible for this neutralization interview. My question is do I have to send an email to USCIS that due to family problem I can't come to interview? or never notify USCIS and don't show up? Is not showing up in interview without any notice makes the officer mad and affects my case in future?? Please need your response.
