I've been always warned about correcting this kind of things since they matter, in fact, they made typos in my marriage certificate. I corrected them because otherwise I wouldn't be able to register it in my homecountry. I guess is even more important for a GC.

It was  actually his first name. for example his name is cano but it was mispelled to camo. i put camo in G325 and now in ds260 i am putting camo as well. is it okay? am i gonna have a problem at the interview because of this typo? do they ask you to spell names in interview

I am petitioning my wife from Spain

My marriage certificate from Spain had typos on my fathers name. I filled out the I130 - G325 using my fathers incorrect name because it would have looked weird if different from marriage certificate. My birth certificate (cursive writing) had my fathers name correct. but translated incorrect to match marriage certificate.

I am now filing out DS260. Should I still use his incorrect name or fix the marriage certificate? if I  fix marriage certificate and put his correct name on ds260 , would i have a problem when they check the documents ( marriage certificate and birth certificate) I send? I don`t know if they are comparing the data to my I130 that I filled out last year or just the DS260.  would she have a problem at interview? at interview do they have a copy of I130?

thank you so answering. I am not still not sure. Maybe there is someone out there that filled out the ds 260 already and got stuck with the same question.  can someone please help and be more detailed. 

have you guys used the same date format i have in my  first message? and do you think i need a police certificate from Peru. she has live in spain since 18 years old  and now she is 26.

Hi, I have a question regarding previous addresses since sixteen?

my wife was born in Ecuador but she went to Spain at 18 years old.

can i use this sequence of addresses?

april 1990 to april 2009 -- Ecuador  - Do i need a police certificate from Ecuador???

may 2009 to april 2013 --- Resident  Spain - I have her Police certificate

may 2013 to present time now -- Resident Spain current address - I have her Police certificate

please help???????
