The form is talking about 24-hr days. If you left the US on Saturday (any time) and came back Sunday (any time), you won't need to include that in your travel history. Now if you left on a Friday (any time) and came back Sunday (any time), you need to include 1 day in your travel history. You can roughly estimate the total number of travel days from your routine.
The total number of days only become very important if you're close to breaking the continuous residence and physical presence requirements.
Thank you so much for your reply!! I’ve only lived in the USA for 3 years though and am applying now as the spouse of a us citizen. So for 2 out of the past 5 years I didn’t reside here. Should I be starting the travel history only from when I became a PR?

Hello!
I am starting the process of filing my n400 online and have reached the travel history section. It asks for every trip longer than 24 hours outside the US for the past 5 years. I live close to the border with Canada and often would cross for weekends pre pandemic or even randomly during the week. How am I supposed to remember every single weekend or trip to see my parents that may have lasted even slightly longer than 24 hours??

Hi all!
I just received notice that my interview was scheduled in relation to my I-751 and was wondering if anyone had insight as to what the interview process entails? Will my husband have to attend? Our children? What types of questions are asked? I attended the first one on my own so this is new territory for me.
Thank you so much for any information!

we are expecting our first child in Nov. and since her GC expires in Nov, when we file our package in Sept- should we just include medical forms confirming wife's pregnancy? cuz we obviously don't have children as of yet. is like a short letter from the doctor necessary?
That sounds good to me! I would probably do that if I was expecting!

I did and I included a copy of his birth certificate as evidence of a bona fide marriage. It asks to list all your children and also asks whether the child resides with you (yes) and if the child is applying with you (no). I like to err on the side of the caution with these forms and so to be safe, I included him.

Why are you using an outdated form? The most recent form should be on USCIS website and I advice you use the current edition.
A single check for $680 will do fine.
I am using the latest form from the uscis website which says it expires on dec 31, 2019. However, the notes re the edition date confirm that it can still be used so I’m sending a screenshot of that together with my package.
thanks so much for your reply :)

I entered some values as "N/A" and some values as "NONE", after researching extensively. With the unavailability of a documented process (aka guidance from the I-751 instructions), I chose to do my own bidding....mishmash of information available on VJ forums and some faith...
Used N/A - Page 1: Part 1(2.a,2.b,2.c), Page 2: Part 1(15.a), Page 3: Part 5(1.a,1.b,1.c), Page 8: Part 9(1.a,1.b,1.c), Page 9: Part 10(1.a,1.b,1.c)
Used None - Page 1: Part1(9), Page 3: Part 4(5)
Hoping no RFE for this 🤞🏽
Thanks for this - I was kind of thinking the same thing. Except, I am unable to use "N/A" on the form because I am filling it out on my computer and you can't use any characters other than letter, numbers or spaces. Do you recommend that I use "NA" or "N A"? Also, for page 1(9) and page 3(5) i can't type anything in because you can only fill those boxes with numbers if done online. Should I just put "NA" where possible and leave out the "NONE" on pages 1(9) and 3(5)? Or, do you think I should hand write in all of the "N/A" and "NONE" entries? If I do, do you think they will have an issue with the form being partially typed and partially handwritten?
I am so paranoid and don't want to have any RFEs or issues with this. With all of the delays and funding issues at the USCIS, I just want to get this done, and done right on the first try.
Looking forward to your reply and thanks in advance

Hi there! Good luck!! I’m sending mine in tomorrow and was wondering if you left all fields that didn’t apply blank or if you filled them (where possible) with “NA”?
I have left them blank but I watched a stupid YouTube video that said not putting “NA” could result in a rejection.
This process is so frustrating! I’ll be glad when it’s all over!
let me know how it goes with you and I’ll update my timeline.
Thanks for starting this thread!

Hi everyone!
Mailing out my package tomorrow and also used the outdated form. I will be attaching the information under the edition date to my cover letter as well. So crazy!
Question:
Should i enclose 2 personal checks for each amount (595 and 85) OR just one check for the total 680? Thanks so much in advance.

Hey everyone!
I have been living in the US for about a year now with my CR-1 and my husband and I just recently moved residences, how do I notify the USCIS of my address change? Also, do both my husband and I have to notify the USCIS or is it sufficient if only I do so?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Ohh ok ,they didn’t give me any option on interview date ,but I had gone on Wednesday there to ask about my passport the lady at window 5 she took my contact and email and she told me that she will contact me as the passport ready but I didn’t hear anything from them I don’t know what to do I came from Calgary almost 3 weeks here
I would just keep showing up or calling them everyday until you get your passport.

Had my interview on October 29 ,did they sent email to pick from consulate or from post office ?
I had my interview on that day too. They gave me both options: Canada post or pick up from consultate. I left my contact information and they said they would contact me when it was ready and I could decide how I wanted to retrieve it. Got an email on October 30th saying I could pick it or have a friend pick it up from consulate or I could wait for Canada post. I have friends in Montreal so I opted for the pick up from consulate option

Yes! I had a friend pick it up for me in Montreal and courier it to me. I crossed over this past Saturday.

I wrote $0 on the form. Had two fully packed (vacuum bagged) suitcases with clothing and personal items. Had no issues, they didn't even look at my bags. First time I arrived on VWP they scanned my bag after I picked it up from the carousel. This time the customs agent just looked at the form and waived me thru... Not sure if because of the K1 or just didn't want to bother with the full suitcases....
Be sure if you bringing any new clothing with you or any other new items, remove the sealed packaging and tags and stuff like that, so even if you are stopped nobody will think that you are going to sell them here....
Thanks for the info but what form are you talking about? I’ll be driving into the USA. Is there a form I have to fill out before I head over?
-
Hey everyone,
green card was approved today
when it is eventually returned to me and I cross over to the USA, I will only be bringing my personal clothing (including footwear, outerwear, etc.) with me. I plan on just loading some containers and was wondering if I have to do anything special for customs or when they ask, can I just say clothing and let them look through my containers? Any information would be greatly appreciated!
thank you!

I haven't registered myself yet - but I'm hoping it'll be soon. My guess is you're probably fine, I would think calling them if you're really worried would be the best course of action. Hopefully someone who has registered can shed some light, but I'm sure you're fine if it's all listed correctly on the site! Congratulations!
Thanks for getting back to me. I’m not sure if I should even bother calling or not. Maybe you can let me know what you do when you register? Since it’ll be fresh in your mind?

Hey everyone,
Just a quick question, I was so completely excited when I (finally) received notice of my interview date that I immediately went to register my interview date and select my pick-up location. Now that I think back to it, and obviously when I have no way of verifying, I am wondering if i entered my information correctly. I think I recall the website asking for 2 (or 3) numbers, one was the NVC case number, my passport number and I can't recall right now but I think there was another one and I think i entered my DS-260 confirmation number. I did not receive any error messages nor was I unable to register my interview date but this thought crept up on me and I'm just trying to verify if I am remembering everything correctly or if my mind is playing tricks on me. When I go to look at my information on the home page of the US Department of State Visa Appointment and Info System, my name, case number and passport number are all there and correctly listed.
Does any of this sound familiar? Any recent registers that can answer my question?
Thanks so much!

You can travel but make sure you book an appointment on Infopass to get the stamp. It's usually very hard to book an appointment, but there are some tricks that you can look up online.
I just recently got my green card. I received it in exactly one week after my interview. If you are not in a huge rush, you might not even need to get a stamp
Thank you! What stamp are you referring to and what is infopass?

Thank you for this tip - super helpful! Do you have any insight as to when I should start my travel history since I’m applying based on 3 year residency and not 5 so for 2 out of the past 5 years, I resides in Canada.
should I start my travel history from the date I became a PR, 3 years ago?
