Application approved, 07/23 and I received my new card this morning. Finally, all that stuff is over!

Okay... Time to celebrate.
Weird how transferred cases are now slower than cases that remained in CA. I have a feeling they rotate back and forth between all centers.
Fingers crossed hope everybody get as many approvals possible before the new rules come on Sept 1st

Congrats! Was case transferred out of California to any of the popular places (i.e. NSC, TSC, NBC)?
Nope, my case stayed in California the whole time.

Just a quick update, mid March 2017 CSC filer, my case was approved July 23rd, received approval letter today 07/27 and my card was already mailed out and per USPS should be at my house 07/30 - 07/31. I am actually pleasantly surprised how fast everything went after the approval.

So today I went into the field office in Salt Lake City to get my extension for the 1 year extension (1 week after first extention expired) . Even though the online system says my case was transferred to the field office it is still in California due to a system glitch back in Febuary. Also, he told that CSC is so backed up they are working on October right now and we can wait at least another 6 to 8 months till they will get to March 2017. I got my stamp in the passport but I got to keep my Greencard, he told me they are not taking them away since you never know what people want to see. The young man was very nice, answered all my questions and it was super fast. 15 min tops. Well, my fellow CSC people, let's keep waiting haha

Has anyone travelled with their extension letter and expired green card yet? My greencard expired yesterday and the thought of not being able to go down to Mexico as easily as I have enjoyed the last two years before we move to DC is troubling me.
Also, what is the procedure when you move interstate? We are planning on moving from San Diego to DC (or Maryland/Virginia) in the next couple of months, how do I update my info with USCIS and NOT screw up my removal of conditions?
I came back yesterday from Europe with the expired green card and the extension letter.. had no issues what so ever. the only thing the TSA guy asked me was how long I already wait for the removal of conditions.

Yes, I just got a new job and they are giving me hell for the expired green card (literally expired just 7 days before) even though I tried to give them the documents a lot earlier to avoid all this.
I also tried going to the Social Security Office to see if I could get a new social security card because unfortunately mine has the legend "valid with DHS authorization only" and they said nothing could be done, my employer has to take my extension letter, that IS my authorization to work. We'll see what happens...
If anyone has any advice please tell me what to do.
I started a new job like a month ago and just brought the NOA 1 to my employer and they did not even need it, they use the e-verify tool to check for eligibility to work.

No ,I did not file for N-400 and don't plan on doing that any time soon. I am in SLC as well. My case was never transferred, no RFE and no interview.
