  1. Hello,

I'm filing as an immediate relative (Spouse) forms: I-485, I-130, and I-765.

I've requested to Expedite i-765 EAD based on:

" 4. Nonprofit status of requesting organization in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States. "

Does anyone have experience with this particular bullet point?

I do have a job offer from a nonprofit organization that has a mission to promote and perform classical music, and it also has educational programs for a good amount of children and adults.

What proof do I need to fax (more than my offer letter)?

    Thanks :)

She will fill out only one and that is the i864a. I864 and i864a is the same thing. But because the joint sponsor live with you it has the A at the end. If his mother didn't live with him, she would have fill out the i864.

Ok, that makes sense! Thank you for clarifying:)

She's both. Your spouse need to fill out i864 although he is unemployed and his mom need to fill out i864a since you all live together.

    Ok, thank you!

So, if I've understood it correctly; my spouse has to fill out i864, his mother i-864A and also her own i-864 (since she is also joint sponsor), am I right?

  4. Hi,

I'm from Sweden and my husband from the US. We both currently live in the U.S.

We are in the middle of our filing for AoS through marriage.  Thus, I need to submit my Birth Certificate, which is non-existent.  Instead I requested a "Personbevis" (Extract from the population register) through the Swedish Tax Agency, "Skatteverket".

    Is this enough evidence?

If not, what other evidence can I use?

Also, can I go to a Swedish consulate and ask them to write a statement that it does not exist?

Since this is what I found on USCIS:

"Where a record does not exist, the applicant or petitioner must submit an original written statement on government letterhead establishing this from the relevant government or other authority"     https://www.uscis.gov/ilink/docView/SLB/HTML/SLB/0-0-0-1/0-0-0-11261/0-0-0-11630/0-0-0-11646.html

    Thanks!
