Hi guys I need help this is so annoying  , my scan date was may 1st 2017 , I got email  from Nvc on 27th may 2017, which I don't understand ,here is the copy of the email Nvc sent .

NVC Notice of Missing Item: Please submit Affidavit of Support documents ****

    Good day,
The National Visa Center (NVC) received the documents you submitted in support of Xxxx xxxxx. Xxxxx  immigrant visa petition. This petition's NVC case number is LGS xxxx. Xxxxx . However, NVC will not review these documents until we receive the Affidavit of Support form(s) and/or supporting financial evidence required for this case.
On Nvc status it still says require document require ,  i will like to know if the is an error message Becos we submitted all required document in one envelope by mail . And again how long will it take Nvc to complete my application, thanks

When you sent package it had the affidavit? If so, call and if you have a copy, send it

If you sent your documents to NVC via mail processing, give it 2-4 weeks before you call NVC to confirm scan date.

If you sent your documents to NVC via email processing, give it 3 business days and call NVC to confirm.

You can track your case by logging onto CEAC, however, it may not be updated until someone picks up the case and reviews it.

    Hope that helps.

    :time:

Another question: and more or less they assign the interview?

  3. Questions: we send thr documents yesterday to NVC. They will receive it on Tuesday, 1) When more or less they have a scan day 2) After that scan day what is the average time to complete the case and if when they completed they assign the appoitment in consulate 3) When They assign the appoitment they do it in how many days average after the case is completed.

This is important to me in order to manage the timeline in my job.

    Thanks

Thank you so much for the words of encouragement!! I've been calling a lot as well and just watching the USCIS website like a hawk, checking the mail every day and even chasing down the mailman like a crazy person haha. I'm trying to stay strong and focus on other things so the time will pass more quickly. Thankfully, I'll be going back to El Salvador to visit my husband at the end of May. I'm really praying we have our NOA2 before I go back!

Keep calling! I noticed that they pay more attention! I have seen security warnings and they include ES fron US goverment, maybe they are taking more time for that. Keep positive! You will see!!

    More updates ---

    NOA2: 4/10/2017

    Sent to NVC: 4/18/2017

    Case Received/Case Number Assigned: 4/26/2017

    Welcome Email/Letter Received: 4/28/2017

AOS and IV Fees Invoiced: 4/28/2017

AOS and IV Fees Paid: 4/29/2017

Looks like having a lawyer changes things slightly. We didn't have to fill out DS-261 and both the AOS and IV fees were invoiced simultaneously.

    Hi!

Nice... I paid AOS but IV appear zero... thats mean they havent invoiced?
