Thanks!! All the usual questions basically what we have read on VJ.. About my spouse, how we met, where did the wedding take place, kid's age, how did my wife got her visa, her job details,my intention after I enter US, about my job, my visits to the countries where I have been so far... I have visited Iraq also couple of times for professional reasons so they did roll eyes on it! :)  Also about my co-sponsor details, his proof of residency etc.. It was around 10 to 15 mins interview basically.. As long as your all documents are present with you, it should be fine.. Some of the guys who were in front of me were in interview for an hour or so and they ended up having white slip because of missing one or two document which is awful.

    thanks you for details

Ok and didn't  they notify you by email that the WL was sent to your postal mail? I'm worried because my husband moved and when the NVC sent the notification about they now have my case, the address wasn't updated. My husband called NVC and told them about it and they changed the address. But you know, sometimes by phone they are very inefficient so I don't know what to do.

I See. they didn't notify me by email that they have sent WL by post. as i said u , u can write an inquiry to NVC to expose your problem, they will answer u.

Hi, did you get the welcome letter and did all the six steps on NVC website? My PD is march 2016 and I haven't received the invoice number and the instruccions to start the process with them

hi , i received WL by post and all others document by email  .  in the case that ur case hasve been approve by uscis just wait , people of december 2015 have not receive their welcome letter so it is normal. u can  write an inquiry to NVC to tell them that u have not receive any update about your case ( i have do it ) and they answer asking me to wait

Excellent one.. But I believe its more towards how busy your country's US embassy is rather then join sponsor point..

PD July 31, 2015, Bangladesh. Case completed 4 months before. No IL yet. Called NVC 20 days ago. They said to wait.

Someone from my country received IL having PD of 13 August 2015, but no good news for me so far. I think, NVC call for interview considering 2 things in an addition of PD.

    1) Which applicant completes the case earlier with NVC.
    2) Which applicant have the joint sponsor and who have not.

The one who completes the case earlier will get IL quickly. Besides, if you have strong petitioner earning, you will get the priority to get the IL earlier. But if you have a joint sponsor they will put you on the bottom line.

To get the interview date at the very first month, you need to complete your case before many others of your country, and better you have strong petitioner earning instead of having a joint sponsor.

At any other case, you might need to wait a couple of months more to get the IL even after the PD is current.

You can compare it with someone of your country only. Cause the wait list of the embassies differs country to country. NVC schedules interview according to the available date of the embassies. Not every country has the same amount of demand for the Visas.

    It's my understanding so far.

Interesting analyse!! i agree with the impact of the completion of case but i don't really think sponsor has any impact in the scheduling of interview. many people of your country havenot got their IL. so just wait and keep calm!! don't flex too much cuz you are not alone in this case. u will got it!!
