Congrats everyone!!

We just got notification of our interview date today! It'll be Sept 6, almost exactly one year after our PD of Sept 7! 

I feel like people are not completely reading the text...

It says "...or have met all requirements under U.S. immigration, tax or other laws to travel to the United States..."

From what I understand, that means you are eligible as long as you are legally present in the country. Since you have the right to work, there really shouldn't be an issue, but that's up to the producers, so I think speaking with them candidly is the best way to go.

Hi everyone! I'm joining you from the September filers thread! Our I-130 got approved and we declared me (the petitioner) as the agent yesterday. Looks like we'll have to do Mail Processing, unfortunately, but hopefully it'll go smoothly. 

Our main concern is that we are both living overseas and I don't have a U.S. domicile. Can y'all give some advice on how to prove our intention of returning to the U.S. indefinitely? I've always kept a bank account, voted, renewed my drivers' license etc. Our plan is to live with my parents to start, can they write a letter confirming this plan? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

We got our approval notice by e-mail on Saturday! Finally! The rest of you will get notices soon, they seem to be catching up!

If you want to get e-mail notification, make sure you're signed up on the USCIS website. Maybe that's why others aren't getting the info by e-mail?

Congrats! Our PD is Sept 7 and we're stuck in Nebraska so hopefully we'll get our answer soon!!

Yay! Congratulations!  Looks like the other offices are moving...but those of us stuck in Nebraska are still delayed! Frustrating... Anyone whose file is still at Nebraska getting any news?? Our PD is Sept 7...

Sorry, you're right! I didn't mean to tease you or anything; just trying to keep a good attitude. It's really hard to be so uncertain about the future, but I'm sure we'll all start getting news soon. Good luck!

My PD is Sept 12 and I haven't heard anything since. I DID hear a horror story, so I just wanted to check.

 

Our PD is Sept 7 and our file is apparently still at Nebraska as well. I'm curious about this horror story...or maybe it's better not to ask!

I just want to thank everyone for being active here. It's helping us so much to see that other people are having the same experience as us! Our PD is Sep 07 and the anticipation is so stressful! Hopefully we'll all start getting news soon. Good luck everyone!
