Thanks for the input. The reason I am concerning is I don't have any major joint documents. I don't even have joint tax return. Althoug I filed the joint return. Wife refured tax return jointly, even refused release her tax info to me to submit. The only things I have is my boy's birth certificate. I really wish everthing is smoothy.

Just courious to know if there is relationship betweent biometrics and case approval. If you received biometrics appointment , does that mean your case is on the way to approve?

My experience: I mailed out on 8/3 (Vermont), received NOA on 10/7 ( and Bimetrics appointment for 10/10 on the same day). I did make an appointment to nyc local office stapping my passport before I received my NOA. Looks like they are asking some more evidence in my NOA.

Yes, we filed tax return with marriage but separately not "single". We live together and the address on the tax returns are the same address. My concern is that I submit only my tax retuns or both mine and my wife's if I should. Or just ingore the tax returns.

I submitted baby's birth certificate, insurance card with whole family, joint bank account, Affidavit letters and some travel documents and pictures by us. The Notice I received yesterday asks more evidences such as tax returns. I am wondering to get the copy of lease from the owner, But I am not sure how to send the tax returns.

Should I submit tax returns for my I-751 case? We don't have joint tax returns. We filed tax separately. We already have a baby. If I submit tax returns, should that include both, me and my wife's? Also is that easy to add spouse to the car insurance?

I appreciate any suggestive words.

I haven't received either for two months since I mailed to VSC. I saw many posts talking about the biometrics for I-751. Is that nessary to do biometrics? it looks like some posts mentioned after receiveing first NOA, then waiting for the final notice.

By the way, what is misinformation line #? I may call them to look into my case.

I know this question is kind of confusing. But I am in such a situation. I am so shame to talk about this. I mailed out my application and check with INS. They mailed me NOA one moth ago, but I didn't receive it. I doubt my wife and her mother took it and hid from me. She is a USC and desn't want me to get green card. Believe or not, we already have a 14-month kid, she refuse to file joint tax with me, even when she took one years matenity leave. My doubt is not just from I didn't receive this letter, some other letters from my family just can't received(from MA). If somebody now through the process, please direct me.

After freaking out upon seeing the change in reporting times at VSC and writing off hearing from them anytime soon, Niko received a letter in the mail that our I-751 has been approved!!!!

We mailed the stuff out in early May and had a notice date of 5/12/2006.

Date of decision: 8/24/2006

Letter received: 8/31/2006

No interview needed.

I have been waiting the NOA for 40 days and still waiting. I called the them this morning, they told me the receipt No., I try to look into my case through online, but it said this is wrong receipt #. After EAC--there are all digits or with some letters? The officier read me some O's, I am wondering they mean zero.

Same issume to me. I sent off on 8/03 to VSC, I have received Notice yet. tried to call the 1-800 but waiting one hour, nobody overthere. I guess just we have nothing to do but waiting.

I sent out my I-751(VSC) on 8/3 and I am still waiting for the I-797(I read those experience online, I suppose have that). But so far I got words from USCIS. Today is 8/24, I am kind of worry..is that suppose this long? How long should i get NOA for my petition normally? I also want to check my case with the center, if anybody know how to contact(phone#,emeail..), please share with me.

Have they cashed your check? I would give it a month and then about all you can do is make an INFOPASS appointment, since you can't check I-751s online and the 800# bozos have no way to check them.

I sent with money order. I do have return receipt from post office indicate my mail reach the VSC on 8/6/06, after that no any message. Does that Inforpass need face to face meeting or can speak through phone? Or I will try raj's suggestion to call national service center.
