Hi guys, does anyone know the scheduled ceremonies for San Antonio?

According to the system they sent out my appointment notice on August 11th and I would like to see which oath ceremony I may be assigned to.

    Thanks.

Let me know, if your interview dates. In San Antonio the upcoming oath dates are  Aug 24, Sep 21,  Sep 27 ( Austin ) ,Oct 19

I haven't yet. The barely sent out my interview notice on Friday the 11th. I've waited for 3 months for an interview and I hope I don't have to wait too lon for the oath ceremony.

:):)  Three months is not long wait. I waited exactly 1 year for interview.

    Hi,
    I am new to VJ
First of all I would like to congratulate to all those who acquired their us citizenship & wish good luck for those who are waiting like me.
I am a August 2016 filer from Georgia, more details below
    PD: 08-15-16
    FP: 09-01-16
    No movement till now.
called IO, had SR & Infopass, even contact local congressional rep, but seems still stuck in background check...
    Any suggestions ??

BTW i'm from India, no involvement in any illegal issues

Thanks for viewing my post and any suggestion would be appreciated

    Only option is wait.

You can contact Ombudsman to see , if they can help , because your case is outside of normal processing window.

    Is it IOE case ?

    All,

This forum has been great and motivated me to take an Infopass today morning at the Austin office.

Incidentally found out that my Oath was scheduled for later this month when I met with the IO. He said it appeared in the system just this morning, so he was able to print out a brief statement that showed the time, place and date. He was real friendly too and said more than a 1000 people are scheduled for an oath ceremony later this month in Austin, hence a lot of delays in sending out the paperwork.

A couple hours later, I also got an email alert indicating the Oath ceremony notice was mailed.

Big relief given that I applied in April 2016.

    Application filed - April 2016

    Biometrics - May 2016

    Interview notice - Feb 2017

    Interview - Mar 2017

Status changed to Inline for Oath - Mar 2017

Good luck to everyone out there.

Just curious , i dont see Infopass for Austin office ? do you mean San Antonio ?

I need use plan B now. N400 is pending, I751 is pending, but I need go to France to work.

since nobody knows how long will it take, I guess I will go apply the visa on my Chinese passport and wait there. When I get an update for my interview, I need fly back and reapply then.

same here, just to do what you need to do. Always you can reschedule interview if needed.

    Hi Houston Filers,

I am new here. Wanted to share my experience with yall so we can be updated with what's going on with the unusual delay this year.

    My office/ Houston

    Sent N400: 08/01/16

    Biometric done: 08/29/16

My case still shows just my biometric update and no single move since then.

I called uscis first time February 1st they said you still in normal processing time, then in March same thing. In April same thing.

Last call was this morning may 4th 2017

And I requested to talk to L2 officer hoping to have a different answer and he told me that

My file is in the NBC national benefits center and I have to wait my turn. I told him I am planning my trip in July overseas this year and he said you go enjoy your trip we still working on May cases. It doesn't seem to be there yet. It means my case will pass the line of 1year just to know when the interview is.

Plz share your experience and let us be updated.

Is it IOE case, many august filer are stuck in BG

I went to the local office today, and confirmed I am stuck in FBI name check. so sad....

I don't know how long it will take and hope I can get it soon. And due to file under 319b, my husband is already in France, and I need my new passport to get the French visa, otherwise I hold my Chinese passport to get visa will be waste.

maybe my name is a common name in China, but I mean, easy to check, clean records.

It took me 10 months to get my CR1 while waiting in Shanghai. and I751 is still pending filed Oct 2016, due to the CSC's processing is quite slow.

and now N400-319b is name check....need blessing!

Thanks for updating. I think the name check is struck due to new system ( IOE ) not true stuck. Keep us updated.

for the processing date if just based on the uscis website posted is not accurate I think. For example like san francisco FO it is june 6 now and has been stayed there for a couple of month. did not change at all. Actually uscis has handle the cases with PD on September 2016 already. We are the august filer. Don't know how and when can solve this? Please let me know when your case is updated later and I will tell you also for our case. Thank you and good luck!

i have see people in Feb 2017 PD getting interview date also. But any officer is going to go with processing date posted.. Lets wait on see.

Hi August filer who stuck in name check please let us know if or when your BC is clear. I was wondering what else should we do to get us out of hole besides waiting? how often we need to ask for updated status? so frustrating. we just wait for another month? @txaimyou have good news recently?

No news. I tried many ways - got back standard answer.

I'm going to just wait for processing date of FO within my PD date

Last week when my wife called the USCIS customer service and spoke to L2. the IO asked her to wait end of June (thats when she completes 6 months of filing) and then call them back. When asked whether the application is stuck in BG, IO mentioned that it may not be and didn't give a definite answer. She also said as of now there is no problem with the application

    Thats a good sign

I read alot but nothing seems working. You could do nothing. But most cases which were stuck in BG check for more than a year, filed a lawsuit againt USCIS and FBI won and got approved. The process take about 3-4 months and it costs money. $5000-$7000 (I'm not sure)

That need to try all avenues prior. I guess last week there were lot of movements on long pending cases. Hopefully something happens this  week.
