My husband came in with a B1 B2 visa. I would like to file for him but I have no idea what forms to file. We went to the lawyers but it was too expensive. I believe I can do it myself but I need help with the forms to file. Am not sure which one to file. I saw that they have one for an alien relative abroad but nor for an alien relative living in the US. Please help!

I see some things were returned so what is your service center you got?

I don know but the three letters on my Case number starts with LIN. Am going to be calling them tomorrow because I only received A letter with the album nd I didn't receive an NOA letter cause I called to get it myself over the phone.

If you can't, don't worry! You can either wait for an RFE (if any) to send them, or hold off until it reaches NVC and send them there. This is normally called "side loading" (whereas sending them with the initial I-130 is considered front loading). Either way, they will be included with your file prior to the embassy getting it, so it'll be fine either way.

No it's not a RFE and they didn't send any instructions with it just a letter explaining why they are returning the document back to me. I had to call them to even get my case number because I didn't receive it with the document (pictures) they sent back. I think I would have to call back again to get proper instructions.

ok no problem...I wonder do I send it back to the Lockbox I sent it to before and want do I include other than the pictures. Do I write my name and case number on all the pictures

I did send our passport photos.... They returned my wedding albums 

I sent in our wedding pictures  and random pictures of my husband and I but they returned it to me. Guess because I sent it as an album file. Should even resend it back to them after I correct it to the format needed????

Hello VJ Fam!

So I finally received my NOA1 but they sent back my picture file that I made and included in the I-130 package I sent with a note stating that it was not in the format they can place in my file to process my application. Please can anyone tell me what format we are supposed to send in the pictures as. After correcting the problem do I send it back to them and how do I send it back to them?  I sent my application to Phoenix Lockbox. I should have asked questions before I sent in my application. So sorry for asking too many questions everyday. Please bear with me! This whole process is very new to me and I also want to thank everyone that Has answered all my questions so far. Just a few warnings though I'll be posting alot of questions during this process and I sure hope everyone will be willing and able to help me out in this journey.

Yes I included G-1145. I actually sent a Money order instead of a check. Will that be a problem? 

Hello Everyone!

I sent my I-130 on the 22nd Saturday April to lockbox Phoenix, Arizona. I live in Texas so was wondering if my application will be sent back to Texas for processing. I was also wondering why I haven't received my NOA1 by now or is it too early to get one?  Should I call to ask for my NOA1 since its been delivered since Monday on the 24th? How long does it take them to send it back to Texas?

Thanks everyone for the reassurance. This whole process is making me so anxious and very worried. I don want to make any kind of mistakes at all, I want everything to go as smooth as possible.

Yes passport pohots

I recently just mailed my I-130 package and I checked yesterday it said delivered but I just realized that I forgot to put my name and my husbands name on the back of our passport before i sent it on Saturday. Please any advise as to what to do? Would my application be sent back to me since I didn't put our names on the passports. I'm so worried and stressed out about can anyone help me out thanks.  I put every required documents needed I just forgot the names of the passport. I wonder if there is a number to call them so they can return to me so I can write our names and then send it back to them. Please what do I do? Should I even be worried about it?

I have another question. I have visited my husband at least three times now but am confused if to put NEVER LIVED TOGETHER on question #59a part 4 or put the physical address of our house. I usually stay with him for at least a good month nd half when I go visit.

I am in the process of filling out the I-130 for my husband. I got confused as to what date to put on question #18 on part 2 date of current marriage.

My husband and I did our traditionals wedding in 2015 but ended up doing our court wedding 2016 so I don't know if I should use the date of our traditional wedding instead of the court wedding.

Any reply would be greatly appreciated. Since this is my first time I do not want to mess up. Thanks for the time!!!!!
