I received case complete email on 7/24 and interview letter email on August 5th, few days after I also got letters via regular mail. Good luck ?

Priority Date was July 31, 2007.

Interview letter received today via email, it is scheduled for September 24!!!

Hi everyone!

My brother's priority date is JULY 31, 2007, I called NVC yesterday and case was completed last Thursday, now waiting for interview letter until priority date is current. Visa bulletin for the month of August is showing JUL.1 2007, so I am guessing to hear from NVC on or before September.

He is LPR filed I130 petition for his son over 21 yrs old, I797C shows receipt date Oct 2002, approved petition was received on 2005, his son ovestayed with tourist visa since 2004, now that petition is current he wants to know if his son should apply for adjustment of status? In the other hand his mom who is a USC filed also filed petition for him on Dec. 2008 and petition was also approved since 2010, petition is not yet current since is F1 category.

Please advice what he can do?

I spoke to NVC operator this morning since IV bill has not been completely generated, and that i need to wait to receive email in a couple of days....i did check online and IV bill shows "NOT PAID", however when i click "pay selected fees" is not doing anything, i think maybe 'cause i entered same Invoice number as I864??...does anybody know if Invoice # is different on IV bill??.

Cinthia, it takes about 2 weeks for NVC to acknowledge receipt of DS-3032 by e-mail. I also sent in by e-mail about your time and just got replied by e-mail yesterday. Give them a til mid week next week, then call them if not received.

Hello everyone,

I just called NVC to find out if they approved my AOS(I 864)for my parents. They said everything was fine...no RFE's on 864......good!!!Also, they told me that they are waiting for the DS 230(biographic forms) which I mailed them yesterday...so they should be getting sometime today. I should've send them last week, but I was waiting for my parent's passport pics.

My family (sisters and brothers in law) and I here in the States are planning to visit my parents sometime in November or december....and since I am going to my country, Do anybody knows if they would let me be in the interview day at the US Embassy? or I am not allowed to go inside for the interview?

NVC received my I864 package this morning via Fedex, also my Dad emailed DS-3032 on 9/4, still have not received acknowledge from NVC on this, how long does it take for I864 to get approved ?

I just called NVC and the automated system gave me my Dad's case no with the message "your case was entered September 1, 2009....", just put in NVC system yesterday.

Do I E-mai in the DS-3032 now or do I have to wait a bit longer, etc?

You need to call back NVC and talk to the operator, press 1 then 5. You need to give her your email address and a email address for your parents, (if they dont have a email, then get them one, gmail works fine) Once NVC have the email addresses they will email you the information for the next step. If you do not give them a email address they will send out the instructions by snail mail and that will delay your case at NVC.

Congrats on getting the NVC case #. You need to speak to a NVC operator and give them your Email address and also email address for your Father. Once they have that and you get the email from NVC with the instructions for the DS3032 and the I-864 you can then email the DS3032 to them from your email account.

Once your case is received by the NVC they will each be given a case number. Once that happens you will have to give your email address to the NVC as well as the email address for your parents.

Tips for NVC

Once you know that the I-130 have been sent to the NVC you can start calling them, I did this every day until I got the case number.

You need to speak to a officer so skip the automated service by pressing 1 then 5 after you get through.

Once you have the case number you need to give the operator the email addresses for you and your parents.

Next you need to email the NVC the DS-3230 choice of agent. Use this template for the email.

Next you will get a email from the NVC telling you the petitioner that you need to pay the AOS fee bill it will give you the link to the NVC payment site where you will pay the fee using a credit card or debit card.

You only need to pay $70.00 once as both your parents cases are linked and they only charge once.

Once that is paid you will print out a barcode coversheet from the payment site for each parent you will need to attach one to each AOS packet that you have made for each parent

You can use the time that the I-130 is being processed to gather all the above document together so that you have them ready to send as soon as you get to each step at NVC.

Once all the paperwork has been received at NVC they will review your parents cases this can take anything from a few days to a few weeks.

Once the review is complete then you will get a email telling you that the case is complete and has been forwarded to the embassy in your parents country.

You will also get a interview letter telling you the date of the interview and a link to the Embassy website with instructions on how to get the medical done and instructions for the interview.
