  1. Hello there,

Here is my question, the NVC should be receiving our petition any day now, I am wondering when would be the proper time to

    1. Have my bank print out the statement showing my account open date, deposits for the year, and current balance

    2. Have my employer write up the statement letter of my employment

When should I send these to my fiance? am I too soon to get these 2 statements and send them to my fiance? In other words will the embassy not accept the statements if the date is today 6-28-17 that is printed on the letters and statements, say if the interview is 2 months from now for example?

Thank You for all your help everyone.

  2. I would not worry too much, i would see many people receiving their NOA2's before us, we filed back on Feb 10, so I was expecting to get the NOA close to May 10, however time went alone and I just received our NOA2 on June 10. So to sum it up, sometimes a case can take slightly longer, just because maybe the one handling your case has a slight bit bigger work load than most. I would not worry if I were you, I know it is EXTREMELY stressful, but your NOA2 will come soon I am sure.

  3. I had a similar situation, but mine was that I had blindly not wrote in my SSN......... So foolish!! I found this after reviewing all the documents again a few months later, I expected to get an RFE, but they had not sent me one. I had received the NOA2 without any RFE. So you might, or you might not get an RFE. If you are concerned go ahead and call your field office local to you.

January 17th and still waiting, definitely frustrating seeing everyone in January start to set up interviews and go thru the process, but everybody case is different so just trying to be patient but praying it comes ASAP.

I am sorry to hear that, looking like we will be in the same boat, I wouldn't think our case would be very difficult. Pretty straight forward case with no issues. You are right though each case is different

It's very normal, some gets approved very fast, some have to wait much longer. I for instance had to wait for 6 months last year when "everyone else" got approved in 2-3 months. It's very frustrating but there's nothing you can do until 5 months have passed.

My goodness, that is certainly frustrating :( I really hope it will not be that long, but i understand it happens.

hi! I understand your feeling very much! Our NOA1 is 30 Jan. We are still waiting.

Yeah I see I am 14 days after you and I certainly hope that soon we will receive our NOA2's

  7. Hey there guys, just wondering, is it normal for other people around the same time of submitting their application to be getting their NOA2 before you?

For instance we got or NOA1 on Feb 14 2016 and have not received the NOA2 however see everybody else around that time already receiving theirs. Slightly worried :(

  8. Hello there,

Here is my concern, I read over my application and documents very many times making sure I had filled out everything properly and I swore that I had filled out all sections properly. Something made me look over my application copy today and I noticed something that terrified me! On the I-129F form, I had forgotten to write in my social security number, I was thinking how could I forget to write this in! However, I did write in my social security number on the G-325A Biographical information form that was filed in that same packet as the I-129F. I am terrified that this may deny my petition, or set back my processing time. Of course, my goal is to be able to bring my fiancé back with me to get married as soon as possible because we miss each other so much every day. I am hoping with everything that this is not a big problem, and if it can be fixed or if is ok as is. Please help me with this, I am terrified that my petition will be denied or add on a longer processing time. Once again, my social security number is specified on the G-325A form, but I am afraid that it may be missing on the I-129F form that is in the same packet as the G-325A. Is this a big problem? Will they just see the social security number from the G-325A and add it onto the I-129F? Will this add on extra processing time for the petition? I hope this does not put a hold on my petition.

I did briefly talk to someone at USCIS and they said that its not really a big error considering that I did write in my ssn on the G-325A form. She did give me some advice if I was very concerned to write a letter explaining to my local field office.

I want to know what you all on Visa Journey think.

This is making me stress out so much I swear I must have filled out the application at least 4 different time over and over again. :(
